De Heer zij met u allen.\u201d<br \/><strong>2 Thessalonicenzen 3:16<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Vrede wordt gedefinieerd als &quot;een staat van rust of kalmte; vrijheid van verontrustende of beklemmende gedachten of emoties.&quot; Door het volbrachte werk van de Heer Jezus Christus aan het kruis kunnen jij en ik vrede met God hebben: &quot;Daarom, gerechtvaardigd door het geloof, hebben wij vrede met God door onze Heer Jezus Christus.&quot; Paulus verklaart verder: &quot;Door Hem hebben wij ook door het geloof toegang tot deze genade, waarin wij staan, en verheugen wij ons in de hoop op de heerlijkheid van God&quot; (Romeinen 5:1-2). We hebben vrede met God en toegang tot Zijn aanwezigheid, alles te vinden in het verlossende werk van genade aan het kruis (Efezi\u00ebrs 2:14-18)!<\/p><p>Maar de vijand van God is nu ook onze vijand, en hij probeert de vrede die we nu genieten te verstoren. Hij kan onze positie voor God niet aantasten; niets kan ons nu nog scheiden van de liefde van God die we vinden in Zijn geliefde Zoon (Romeinen 8:31-39). De tegenstander probeert echter onrust en problemen te veroorzaken in ons genot van deze positie. Een van de manieren waarop hij dit bereikt, is door ons onze relatie met God uit het oog te laten verliezen, door twijfel te zaaien over het Woord van God en Zijn zorg voor ons, net zoals hij dat deed in de Hof van Eden met onze voorvaderen (Genesis 3:1-7).<\/p><p>Toen de zonde door Adams ongehoorzaamheid de wereld binnenkwam, bracht ze drie dingen met zich mee: schuld, schaamte en angst (Genesis 3:10). De duivel heeft deze drie dingen als wapens tegen de mensheid gebruikt. Deze drie manifesteren zich vaak in ons leven en veroorzaken veel moeilijkheden in onze geest, ziel en lichaam!<\/p><p>Als volgelingen van Jezus Christus moeten we beseffen dat \u201cGod ons geen geest van vrees heeft gegeven, maar een geest van kracht, van liefde en van een gezond verstand\u201d (2 Tim. 1:7). Satan is een dief en verlangt ernaar om te \u201cstelen, te doden en te vernietigen\u201d. Hij wil onze vreugde stelen, onze vrede doden en ons vermogen om de Heer Jezus te verheerlijken tenietdoen. Hij begint hiermee door middel van zorgen, die kunnen uitgroeien tot angst, die zich kunnen ontwikkelen tot vrees, die uiteindelijk kan ontkiemen tot paniek.<\/p><p>De Heer Jezus sprak over de gevaren van zorgen (Matte\u00fcs 6:25-34). Net als in de Hof van Eden beginnen zorgen en alles wat daarop volgt vaak met onafhankelijkheid van God. Daarom herinnert de Heer Jezus ons eraan: &quot;Zoek eerst het Koninkrijk van God en Zijn gerechtigheid, en al deze dingen zullen u worden toegevoegd&quot; (Matte\u00fcs 6:33). Zoeken betekent vragen, wat aangeeft hoe belangrijk het is om in gebed tot de Heer te zijn en al onze zorgen op Hem te werpen!<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Wanneer je in de verleiding komt om je zorgen te maken of te wanhopen, wend dan je hart tot de Heer, werp al je zorgen op Hem en vind rust in de vrede die alleen Hij kan geven.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Danger Of Worry \u201cNow may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.
