Met andere woorden, God wil dat de hele mensheid Christus als Verlosser aanneemt. We kunnen minstens vier prachtige waarheden zien die de Vader graag aan Zijn kinderen wil laten kennen.<\/p><p data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"702\"><strong data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"273\">Redding.<\/strong> Het is het werk van de Heilige Geest om ons te overtuigen van onze zondigheid en ons te laten inzien dat Jezus Christus voor onze zonden is gestorven. Wanneer we de Heer als onze persoonlijke Verlosser aannemen, worden we met God verzoend en in volledige gemeenschap met Hem gebracht. Dit gebeurt op het moment dat de redding plaatsvindt. Onze zondeschuld is volledig betaald, zodat we vrij zijn van schuld. Bovendien worden we door de Heilige Geest voor eeuwig verzegeld en apart gezet voor Gods dienst.<\/p><p data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"1058\"><strong data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"717\">Identiteit.<\/strong> Wat is onze identiteit in de Heer? Gelovigen zijn kinderen van God. De Bijbel noemt ons mede-erfgenamen met Christus; met andere woorden, we delen in de rijkdom van de Heer Jezus. Bovendien zijn we veranderd van zondaren in heiligen. We gedragen ons misschien niet altijd heilig, maar een ware heilige is iemand die gered is en apart gezet is voor Gods doeleinden.<\/p><p data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1200\"><strong data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1073\">Positie.<\/strong> Jezus Christus is altijd aanwezig om de gelovige te leiden en te voorzien. Door Hem hebben we direct toegang tot God de Vader.<\/p><p data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1554\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1214\">Missie.<\/strong> Onze voornaamste missie in het leven is om Christus aan de wereld te laten zien. Gelovigen behoren zo te leven dat anderen het leven van Jezus in ons zien. En omdat we het wonder van onze verlossing, onze identiteit in Christus en onze positie voor de Vader begrijpen, delen we de Heiland met anderen.
