Deze afkorting helpt ons te begrijpen dat genade voortkomt uit het hart van God en op geen enkele manier verdiend of verworven kan worden. Als je de Bijbel leest, zie je deze gedachte over Gods genade overal in de Schrift terugkomen.<\/p><p>Psalm 111:4 vertelt ons dat de Heer genadig is. Dat is wie en wat Hij in Zichzelf is; het is een deel van Zijn goddelijke natuur. Spreuken 3:34 herinnert ons eraan dat Hij de Gever van genade is, omdat Hij de God van alle genade is (1 Petrus 5:10). Als volgelingen van Jezus Christus hebben we nu toegang tot de tegenwoordigheid van deze God van alle genade en kunnen we tot de troon van genade komen om hulp te vinden in tijden van nood (Hebree\u00ebn 4:16). De schrijver van de brief aan de Hebree\u00ebn noemt de Geest de Geest van genade (Hebree\u00ebn 10:29), en de boodschap die we door Zijn kracht verkondigen, wordt het evangelie van de genade van God genoemd (Handelingen 20:24). Paulus droeg de mensen in Efeze op aan het Woord van Zijn genade (Handelingen 20:32).<\/p><p>Deze genade werd geprofeteerd door de profeten van weleer en is nu gekomen door de Heer Jezus Christus (1 Petrus 1:10; Johannes 1:17). We lezen in Johannes 1:14: &quot;En het Woord werd vlees en woonde onder ons, en wij zagen Zijn heerlijkheid, de heerlijkheid van de Eniggeborene van de Vader, vol van genade en waarheid.&quot; En het is vanuit Zijn volheid dat wij genade op genade ontvangen (Johannes 1:16).<\/p><p>Deze genade rustte op de Heer Jezus toen Hij nog een jong kind was, en genadige woorden kwamen uit Zijn mond toen Hij Zijn bediening begon (Lucas 2:40; 4:22). Zelfs in Zijn dood lezen we over deze genade: &quot;Maar wij zien Jezus, die een weinig lager dan de engelen was gemaakt, om te lijden voor de dood, gekroond met heerlijkheid en eer, opdat Hij door de genade van God de dood zou smaken voor ieder&quot; (Hebree\u00ebn 2:9).<\/p><p>In het vers van vandaag besefte Paulus dat hoe meer hij voor Christus leed, hoe meer deze genade beschikbaar zou komen voor anderen, en dat God verheerlijkt zou worden naarmate Hij Paulus meer van deze overvloedige genade schonk.<\/p><p>Genade is Gods onverdiende gunst jegens ons die geloven, en Zijn reddende genade is beschikbaar voor ieder die tot God komt door Christus.<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Naarmate we groeien in de genade en kennis van de Heer Jezus Christus, leren we over Zijn ondersteunende, versterkende en bemoedigende genade, en hoe Zijn genade voldoende is om in al onze behoeften te voorzien!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Grace of
