Het schaap van Christus is bekleed met het Gewaad van Gerechtigheid en is in staat gesteld voor God te staan. &quot;Ook voor Adam en zijn vrouw maakte de HEER God kledingstukken van dierenhuiden en bekleedde hen daarmee&quot; (Genesis 3:21). God maakte deze kledingstukken en bekleedde hen beiden met Zijn eigen hand. Op dezelfde manier heeft Hij ons genadig voorzien van een Gewaad van Gerechtigheid. De Heer Jezus Christus Zelf is dat Gewaad van Gerechtigheid. Hij is &quot;DE HEER ONZE GERECHTIGHEID&quot;, &quot;die voor ons wijsheid van God en gerechtigheid is geworden&quot; (Jeremia 23:6; 1 Korinti\u00ebrs 1:30). God kan de zondaar rechtvaardig verklaren omdat Zijn gerechtigheid volledig en volmaakt is voldaan door de dood van de Heer Jezus Christus.<\/p><p>Jezus vertelde de gelijkenis van een verloren, opstandige zoon in Lucas 15:11-32. Toen de zoon terugkeerde en beleed, gaf de vader hem \u201chet beste gewaad\u201d. Dat \u201cbeste gewaad\u201d is een beeld van Christus, het gewaad van gerechtigheid, dat de vuile vodden van zelfgerechtigheid vervangt (Jesaja 64:6).<\/p><p>De opstanding van Christus is het bewijs van onze rechtvaardiging: &quot;Hij werd overgeleverd vanwege onze overtredingen en opgewekt vanwege onze rechtvaardiging&quot; (Romeinen 4:25). We zien de Heer Jezus aan Gods rechterhand zitten nadat Hij &quot;door Zichzelf onze zonden heeft gereinigd&quot; (Hebree\u00ebn 1:3), dus weten we dat God tevreden is met het werk van Zijn geliefde Zoon aan het kruis. Door \u00e9\u00e9n daad van gerechtigheid, in gehoorzaamheid aan de wil van God, heeft Christus Zichzelf zonder vlek geofferd, God verheerlijkt en onze zonden gereinigd. God rekent die gerechtigheid toe aan allen die in Jezus geloven (Romeinen 5:18-19; 4:5-6).<\/p><p>De gelovige zondaar wordt door God bekleed met alle verdienste en waarde van Christus&#039; werk aan het kruis. Hij wordt aanvaard in de gunst van God, de rechtvaardige Rechter, vanwege dat prachtige gewaad. Uit liefde voor ons oordeelde Hij Christus aan het kruis alsof Hij (in Zijn zondeloze natuur) was wat wij zijn (in onze zondige natuur). De gelovige zondaar wordt door God in gerechtigheid aanvaard en ontvangt zo de rechtvaardiging die leven brengt. &quot;Hoeveel te meer zullen zij die overvloedige genade en de gave van gerechtigheid ontvangen, heersen in het leven door de Ene, Jezus Christus... zo is ook door de rechtvaardige daad van \u00e9\u00e9n Man de vrije gave tot alle mensen gekomen, met als resultaat de rechtvaardiging tot leven... zodat, zoals de zonde heerste in de dood, zo ook de genade zou heersen door de gerechtigheid tot eeuwig leven door Jezus Christus, onze Heer&quot; (Romeinen 5:17-18, 21).<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>God kan de zondaar rechtvaardig verklaren, omdat Zijn rechtvaardigheid volledig en volmaakt is bevredigd door de dood van de Heer Jezus Christus.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clothed In Righteousness God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 All such judgment or chastening has to do with this life and never brings into question the believer&#8217;s eternal acceptance before God.
