Maar deze verzen zijn niet alleen opmerkelijk vanwege de lengte van de zin, maar ook omdat ze zeven heerlijkheden van de Heer Jezus als de Eeuwige Zoon van God onthullen. De eerste vier spreken over de heerlijkheid van Zijn grootheid, terwijl de volgende drie de heerlijkheid van Zijn genade openbaren.<\/p><p>Als de Eeuwige Zoon van God wordt Hij allereerst voorgesteld als de Erfgenaam van alle dingen. De Schrift noemt Hem de Zoon van Abraham, omdat Hij in Zijn menselijkheid uit Abrahams geslacht voortkomt. Als zodanig is Hij erfgenaam van het land. We lezen ook over Hem als de Zoon van David. Op deze manier is Hij erfgenaam van de troon. Als de Zoon van de Mens is onze Heer erfgenaam van deze wereld, maar als de Zoon van God is Hij de Erfgenaam van alle dingen.<\/p><p>De tweede glorie die hier genoemd wordt, is die van de Schepper. We kijken vooruit en zien dat Hij de Erfgenaam van alle dingen is, maar we kijken ook terug en leren dat Hij alle dingen heeft geschapen (Johannes 1:3; Kolossenzen 1:15-17).<\/p><p>Onze gezegende Heer is ook de afstraling van Gods heerlijkheid. Dit reikt tot in de oneindigheid van de eeuwigheid, maar als mens toonde de Heer Jezus volmaakt Gods heerlijkheid. Het woord &#039;zijnde&#039; in ons vers betekent dat Hij voortdurend was wat Hij altijd al was geweest.<\/p><p>Hij is ook het exacte beeld van Zijn persoon, wat betekent dat Hij de precieze weergave van God is. Hij heeft God aan ons geopenbaard (Johannes 1:18) \u2013 niet slechts Zijn eigenschappen, maar God Zelf.<\/p><p>Hij is niet alleen de Schepper van de wereld, maar ook de Onderhouder ervan, die alle dingen in stand houdt door het woord van Zijn macht.<\/p><p>Deze glorieuze, die al deze dingen is, is ook onze Verlosser, want &quot;toen Hij door Zichzelf onze zonden had gereinigd&quot;, volbracht Hij wat niemand anders ooit zou kunnen doen.<\/p><p>Als we deze zes heerlijkheden overzien, is het geen wonder dat de zevende Zijn verheffing is: Hij nam plaats aan de rechterhand van de Majesteit in de hemel.<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Dit is Gods boodschap aan de mensheid. Wat zal ons antwoord zijn op deze wonderbaarlijke boodschap over de glorieuze Zoon van God?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Glories of The
