De eniggeboren Zoon, die in de schoot van de Vader is, heeft Hem bekendgemaakt.\u201d<br \/><strong>Johannes 1:18<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Johannes heeft de Heer Jezus al beschreven als het Eeuwige Woord, dat alles tot stand bracht door zijn woord en dat als het vleesgeworden Woord in deze wereld kwam (Johannes 1:1-3, 14). Nu gebruikt hij in dit vers voor het eerst de titel Zoon. Dit is buitengewoon belangrijk, want het is de reden waarom Johannes zijn evangelie schreef:<\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">\u201cEn Jezus deed inderdaad nog vele andere wonderen in het bijzijn van zijn discipelen, die niet in dit boek zijn opgeschreven; maar deze zijn opgeschreven opdat u zult geloven dat Jezus de Christus is, de Zoon van God, en opdat u door te geloven leven zult hebben in zijn naam\u201d (Johannes 20:30-31).<\/span><\/p><p>Johannes noemt de Heer Jezus \u201cde eniggeboren Zoon\u201d. Dit kan beter vertaald worden als \u2018de unieke Zoon\u2019. Het draagt de gedachte in zich van Iemand die zich onderscheidt van alle anderen. <em>verwekt<\/em> De term &#039;Zoon van God&#039; wordt in de geschriften van Johannes minstens vijf keer gebruikt voor de Heer Jezus (Johannes 1:14, 18; 3:16, 18; 1 Johannes 4:9). De Heer Jezus wordt in het Evangelie van Johannes negen keer specifiek de Zoon van God genoemd (1:34, 49; 3:18; 5:25; 10:36; 11:4, 27; 19:7; 20:31). Onze gezegende Verlosser is niet alleen de Zoon van God, maar Hij is God de Zoon. Zelfs de demonen beleden deze waarheid (Marcus 3:11; Lucas 4:41).<\/p><p>Als je het Evangelie van Johannes leest, zul je zes personen ontdekken die de Heer Jezus de Zoon van God noemden: Johannes de Doper (1:34), Nathana\u00ebl (1:49), Petrus (6:69), de blinde man (9:35-38), Martha (11:27) en Thomas (20:28). Als je het getuigenis van de Heer zelf in Johannes 5:25 en 10:36 meerekent, zijn er zeven getuigen die de waarheid van Zijn Zoonschap bevestigen.<\/p><p>Let op nog iets dat buitengewoon belangrijk is in ons vers. Johannes verklaart dat de Heer Jezus \u201cde eniggeboren Zoon is, die in de schoot van de Vader is.\u201d De uitdrukking \u201cis in de schoot van de Vader\u201d staat in de tegenwoordige tijd. Zelfs toen onze Heer hier op aarde was, was Hij altijd in de schoot van de Vader. Dit spreekt van de intimiteit tussen de Vader en de Zoon. Het spreekt van diepe genegenheid, volmaakte gemeenschap en ononderbroken nabijheid. Sommigen hebben de uitdrukking vertaald als \u201cin de schoot van de Vader\u201d, waarmee ze de plaats van de meest intieme gemeenschap benadrukken. Het onthult de intieme gemeenschap die de Vader en de Zoon genieten.<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Wat is het kostbaar dat u en ik een glimp mogen opvangen van de relatie tussen de Vader en de Zoon. Dit is een deel van de boodschap die ons is geopenbaard door de komst van de Zoon van God in de wereld.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Only Begotten Son \u201cNo one has seen God at any time.
