Hij merkte ook de waarde van vriendschap op (4:7-12). Elk van deze gedeelten begint met Salomo die zegt: &quot;Ik zag&quot;, of iets soortgelijks (3:16; 4:1; 4:4; 4:7; 4:15). De enige uitzondering is 4:13-16, hoewel we de uitdrukking wel in vers 15 aantreffen.<\/p><p>Het zou voor Salomo gemakkelijk zijn geweest om ontmoedigd te raken of te denken dat God misschien niet de touwtjes in handen had, aangezien de dingen die hij waarnam in tegenspraak leken met die waarheid. Asaf had een soortgelijke ervaring en beschrijft die voor ons in Psalm 73. Hij begint met te erkennen: &quot;Voorwaar, God is goed voor Isra\u00ebl, voor hen die rein van hart zijn. Maar wat mij betreft, mijn voeten waren bijna gestruikeld, mijn stappen waren bijna uitgegleden. Want ik was jaloers op de hoogmoedigen, toen ik de voorspoed van de goddelozen zag&quot; (Psalm 73:1-3).<\/p><p>Salomo zag wat tegenstrijdigheden leken te zijn. Zo zien we ook in Psalm 73:4-12 dat Asafs perspectief verstoord was geraakt. Let op de herhaling van de voornaamwoorden &#039;zij&#039; en &#039;hun&#039;. Steeds weer geeft Asaf toe dat hij zich bezighield met wat de goddelozen deden en waar ze schijnbaar mee wegkwamen. Dit bracht twijfels en zorgen in zijn eigen hart teweeg.<\/p><p>Merk ook op dat Asaf, toen hij naar buiten keek, zich vervolgens op zichzelf richtte, vooral op wat hij had gedaan, waardoor hij een &quot;waarom ik?&quot;-houding aannam. Bijna tien keer gebruikt Asaf het persoonlijk voornaamwoord &quot;ik&quot; in de verzen 13-17. Dit leidde alleen maar tot diepe pijn in zijn eigen hart (Psalm 73:16).<\/p><p>Maar vanaf vers 17 kreeg Asaf een nieuw perspectief. Het begon toen hij zijn hart uitstortte bij de Heer. Alles werd duidelijk toen hij in Gods aanwezigheid kwam. Hij belijdt: &quot;Totdat ik in het heiligdom van God ging, begreep ik hun einde&quot; (Psalm 73:17).<\/p><p>Asaf begon de kracht van een nieuw perspectief te ervaren. Zijn taalgebruik veranderde van &#039;zij&#039; en &#039;hun&#039; naar &#039;ik&#039; en &#039;mij&#039;, en uiteindelijk naar &#039;U&#039; en &#039;Uw&#039;. Hij was niet langer bezig met de goddelozen of met zichzelf. In plaats daarvan, doordat hij tijd doorbracht in Gods aanwezigheid, begon hij de dingen vanuit Gods perspectief te zien en besefte hij dat God de touwtjes in handen had. Hij voelde zich niet langer alleen, maar genoot van een innige gemeenschap met zijn God.<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Net als Asaf en Salomo kan ons zicht gemakkelijk vertroebeld raken als we de verkeerde kant op kijken. We moeten onze blik richten op Jezus, de Auteur en Voltooier van ons geloof (Hebree\u00ebn 12:2).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Proper
