Tegen zulke dingen bestaat geen wet.\u201d<br \/><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"179\">Galaten 5:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"224\" data-end=\"643\">Terwijl <em data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"240\">goedheid<\/em> Het is misschien een veelgebruikt woord., <em data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"280\">trouw<\/em> Dat is een zeldzaamheid geworden. Er was een tijd dat we konden zeggen dat bedrijven trouw waren aan hun werknemers en werknemers trouw aan hun werkgevers. Helaas is dat tegenwoordig niet vaak meer het geval. Trouw werd vroeger gevierd wanneer echtparen hun vijfentwintigste of vijftigste huwelijksjubileum bereikten, maar zelfs die mijlpalen komen steeds minder vaak voor.<\/p><p data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"795\">Als we aan trouw denken, komen woorden als <em data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"699\">loyaliteit<\/em> En <em data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"721\">betrouwbaarheid<\/em> komen in me op. De profeet <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Jeremia<\/span><\/span> verklaarde: <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">\u201cDoor de barmhartigheid van de HEER zijn wij niet ten onder gegaan, want Zijn medelijden houdt niet op. Het is elke ochtend nieuw; groot is Uw trouw\u201d (Klaagliederen 3:22-23).<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1323\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Petrus de apostel<\/span><\/span> Er wordt naar God verwezen als \u201ceen trouwe Schepper\u201d (1 Petrus 4:19). De Heer Jezus wordt \u201cde Getrouwe Getuige\u201d genoemd, waarmee Zijn volmaakte menselijkheid wordt benadrukt (Openbaring 1:4-5). Hij wordt ook \u201cde Getrouwe en Ware Getuige\u201d genoemd, in tegenstelling tot een falende kerk (Openbaring 3:14), en opnieuw \u201cGetrouw en Ware\u201d zoals Hij op een toekomstige dag geopenbaard zal worden (Openbaring 19:11).<\/p><p data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1604\">De trouw van onze God is overal in het Nieuwe Testament te zien (1 Korinti\u00ebrs 1:8-9; 10:13; 1 Thessalonicenzen 5:24; 1 Johannes 1:9). Trouw is een wezenlijk onderdeel van het karakter van God de Vader en God de Zoon, en Zij willen dat deze trouw in ons leven tot uiting komt door de kracht van de Heilige Geest.<\/p><p data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1970\">We worden aangemoedigd om trouw te zijn in tijden van vervolging (Openbaring 2:10), trouw aan de zuiverheid van de leer (3 Johannes 3-5; Galaten 1:9; 2 Timote\u00fcs 2:23-24) en trouw aan anderen (3 Johannes 5; 2 Timote\u00fcs 2:2). In 1 Korinti\u00ebrs 4:2 lezen we dat &quot;van rentmeesters wordt vereist dat zij betrouwbaar bevonden worden&quot;. Omdat we rentmeesters zijn van alles wat ons is gegeven, geldt dit voor ieder van ons.<\/p><p data-start=\"1972\" data-end=\"2333\">Het is duidelijk, vanwege de gevallen aard van de mens, dat jij en ik niet op eigen kracht trouw aan God kunnen zijn. Dit kan alleen door de kracht van de Heilige Geest. Trouw is een aspect van de vrucht die Hij in ons voortbrengt. Mogen we een groter verlangen hebben om Hem in ons te laten werken en zo het karakter van Christus in ons leven te weerspiegelen.<\/p><p data-start=\"2335\" data-end=\"2438\">Toch is er een wonderbaarlijk bemoedigend vers waaraan we ons kunnen vastklampen, dat Gods trouw onderstreept: <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">\u201cAls wij ontrouw zijn, blijft Hij trouw; Hij kan Zichzelf niet verloochenen\u201d (2 Tim. 2:13).<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2335\" data-end=\"2438\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/><em>Trouw blijven is onze taak; vruchtbaarheid is iets wat we met een gerust hart aan God moeten overlaten.<br \/>\u2013 JI Packer<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faithful and Fruitful \u201cBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
