Tegen zulke dingen bestaat geen wet.\u201d<br \/><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"179\">Galaten 5:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"372\">Geduld wordt vaak vertaald als <em data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"269\">geduld<\/em>. Letterlijk betekent het &quot;langdurige woede&quot; of &quot;langzame toorn&quot;. Simpel gezegd, lankmoedigheid is het langzaam omgaan met woede.<\/p><p data-start=\"374\" data-end=\"924\">In Exodus 34:6 lezen we dat lankmoedigheid een kenmerk is van God zelf: \u201cDe HEERE, de HEERE God, barmhartig en genadig, lankmoedig en overvloedig in goedheid en waarheid, die duizenden barmhartigheid betoont, die ongerechtigheid, overtreding en zonde vergeeft\u2026\u201d Evenzo, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Petrus de apostel<\/span><\/span> Hij beschrijft de Heer als lankmoedig wanneer hij schrijft: &quot;De Heer is niet traag in het nakomen van zijn belofte, zoals sommigen denken, maar Hij is lankmoedig jegens ons en wil niet dat iemand verloren gaat, maar dat allen tot bekering komen&quot; (2 Petrus 3:9).<\/p><p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1451\">De Heilige Geest wil deze eigenschap van geduld in ieder van ons voortbrengen. Als u ooit om geduld hebt gebeden en vervolgens meer moeilijkheden hebt ondervonden, dan hebt u de waardevolle les geleerd dat \u201cverdrukking volharding voortbrengt, volharding karakter en karakter hoop\u201d (Romeinen 5:3-4). Het woord <em data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1260\">doorzettingsvermogen<\/em> is anders dan het woord <em data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1298\">geduld<\/em>, Maar het draagt de gedachte in zich van geduldig volharding. Dit is wat moeilijkheden \u2013 en moeilijke mensen \u2013 in ons teweeg kunnen brengen wanneer we ons overgeven aan de Heilige Geest.<\/p><p data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1729\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Paulus de apostel<\/span><\/span> Het herinnert ons eraan om \u201cte wandelen zoals de roeping die u is gegeven betaamt, in alle nederigheid en zachtmoedigheid, in geduld, elkaar verdragend in liefde, en ernaar strevend de eenheid van de Geest te bewaren in de band van de vrede\u201d (Efezi\u00ebrs 4:1-3).<\/p><p data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1772\">Verderop in hetzelfde hoofdstuk spoort hij ons aan:<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"2081\"><p data-start=\"1776\" data-end=\"2081\">\u201cBedroef de Heilige Geest van God niet, door wie u verzegeld bent voor de dag van de verlossing. Laat alle bitterheid, woede, toorn, geschreeuw en kwaadspreken uit u weg, samen met alle boosaardigheid. En wees vriendelijk voor elkaar, vol medelijden, en vergeef elkaar, zoals God u in Christus vergeven heeft\u201d (Efezi\u00ebrs 4:30-32).<\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2128\">In Kolossenzen 3:12-13 verwoordt Paulus het als volgt: <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">\u201cDaarom, als uitverkorenen van God, heiligen en geliefden, bekleed u met barmhartigheid, vriendelijkheid, nederigheid, zachtmoedigheid en geduld; verdraag elkaar en vergeef elkaar, als iemand een klacht heeft.\u201d <\/span><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\">tegen een ander; zoals Christus jullie vergeven heeft, zo moeten jullie ook doen.\u201d <\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2128\"><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Sta de Heilige Geest toe om vandaag geduld in je leven te brengen.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Producing Patience \u201cBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
