En wanneer Ik het bloed zie, zal Ik aan jullie voorbijgaan; en de plaag zal jullie niet treffen om jullie te vernietigen wanneer Ik het land Egypte tref.\u201d<br \/><\/em><strong><em>Exodus 12:13<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"121\" data-end=\"516\">Het paaslam uit Exodus 12 is een prachtig voorafbeelding van de Heer Jezus als het Lam van God. Het oordeel stond op het punt over heel Egypte te komen, en het volk kreeg de opdracht een lam zonder gebreken of vlekken te nemen en te slachten. Vervolgens moesten ze het bloed ervan nemen en op de deurposten smeren, en allen die in het huis waren, zouden gered worden. God had verklaard: &quot;Wanneer Ik het bloed zie, zal Ik voorbijgaan!&quot;\u201c<\/p><p data-start=\"518\" data-end=\"797\">In 1 Petrus 1:19 lezen we: &quot;Wij zijn verlost door het kostbare bloed van Christus, als door een lam zonder gebrek en zonder vlek.&quot; De Heer Jezus, Gods Lam, was zonder zonde \u2013 Hij kende geen zonde, Hij deed geen zonde en er was geen zonde in Hem. Hij was werkelijk zonder gebrek en zonder vlek.<\/p><p data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"1281\">We zijn verlost door het Lam van God, maar tegen welke prijs? In Jesaja 53:1-7 krijgen we een glimp te zien van wat Hij heeft geleden. In de verzen 4-6 staan minstens tien verschillende uitdrukkingen die het lijden van de Heer Jezus beschrijven. Denk aan vers 7 en herinner je hoe de Heer Jezus zweeg voor Kajafas (Matte\u00fcs 26:62-63), voor de hogepriesters (Matte\u00fcs 27:12), voor Pilatus (Matte\u00fcs 27:14), voor Herodes (Lucas 23:9), en zelfs toen de soldaten Hem sloegen, sprak Hij niet (1 Petrus 2:21-23).<\/p><p data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1362\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Bij het lezen van dit hoofdstuk zouden we ertoe bewogen moeten worden het Lam van God te prijzen. Wanneer we gegrepen worden door Zijn schoonheid, leidt dat ertoe dat we overweldigd worden door een nieuw lied in ons hart. Dit lezen we in Openbaring 5:1-10. Hier zien we het Lam alsof Hij net geslacht is. De wonden die Hij draagt zijn geen littekens die genezen zijn; ze zijn altijd vers, en tot in alle eeuwigheid zal de waarde van Zijn werk en de waarde van het Lam zichtbaar zijn.<\/p><p data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1362\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<br \/><\/strong><em>Op het Lam rusten onze zielen, geen tong kan uitdrukken wat Zijn liefde is;<\/em><br \/><em>Al onze zonden, hoe groot en talrijk ook, worden in Zijn bloed weggewassen.<\/em><br \/><em>\u2013 JA van Poseck<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Redemption By Blood \u201cNow the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are.
