Wanneer we in de vreze des Heren wandelen, beseffen we dat \u201cmijn God in al uw behoeften zal voorzien, overeenkomstig Zijn rijkdom in heerlijkheid, door Christus Jezus\u201d (Filippenzen 4:19). Een leven vol \u201cdingen\u201d en rijkdom is vaak een leven vol problemen, maar een leven geleefd in geloof en in de vreze Gods is werkelijk zorgeloos. De apostel <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Paulus de apostel<\/span><\/span> Hij verwoordde het als volgt: \u201cGodsvrucht met tevredenheid is grote winst\u201d (1 Timote\u00fcs 6:6).<\/p><p data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1573\">In Spreuken 19:23, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Solomon<\/span><\/span> Hij herinnert ons eraan dat de vreze des Heren tevredenheid en veiligheid brengt, wanneer Hij verklaart: &quot;De vreze des HEEREN leidt tot leven, en wie haar heeft, zal tevreden zijn; hij zal niet door het kwaad getroffen worden.&quot; Iemand die in de vreze Gods leeft, zal tevreden zijn. Hij zal \u00e9\u00e9n doel in het leven hebben \u2013 de Heer behagen \u2013 en dat doel zal bereikt worden. Daardoor worden zijn behoeften vervuld en vindt hij rust in zijn hart.<\/p><p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1863\">Als we afhankelijk zijn van andere dingen om gelukkig te zijn, zullen we nooit echt tevreden zijn. Maar als we leren tevreden te zijn in de Heer en in het voorrecht om in Zijn vreze te wandelen, ervaren we blijvende voldoening. Niets zal belangrijker zijn dan de glimlach van God, en die zal op ons leven rusten.<\/p><p data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"2161\">Merk op dat dit vers zegt dat zo iemand \u201cniet door het kwaad getroffen zal worden\u201d. Wie in de oprechte vreze des Heren wandelt, hoeft het eeuwige oordeel niet te vrezen, noch veel van de zorgen die de wereld om hen heen teisteren. Door in de vreze des Heren te wandelen, ervaren zij Zijn gunst en bescherming.<\/p><p data-start=\"2163\" data-end=\"2436\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Functie<\/span><\/span> Zo&#039;n man was hij, zoals we lezen in Job 1:1, 10.
