Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.\u201d<\/em> He is no longer suffering on the Cross, and He is not in the grave. His head, which once was marred with a crown of thorns and beaten, is now glowing in the glory of His person, radiant with immortal life. As followers of Jesus Christ, we have a living Christ!<\/p><p data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"1246\">We also have a <strong>Victorious Christ!<\/strong> Satan had done his worst. Man had done his best to hold Him captive in the grave. But <em data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"868\">\u201cup from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph o\u2019er His foes; He arose a Victor from the dark domain, and He lives forever with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!\u201d<\/em> He passed through the tomb without rolling the huge stone away. The stone was rolled away to prove that He is not here\u2014He is risen! And now He waits. In Hebrews 10:12\u201313 we read, <em data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1217\">\u201cBut this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.\u201d<\/em> He is the Victorious Christ!<\/p><p data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"549\">We also see Him in Matthew 28:18 as the <strong>Mighty Christ<\/strong>\u2014the One who could say, <em data-start=\"175\" data-end=\"237\">\u201cAll authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.\u201d<\/em> He is the very One of whom Peter could say on the Day of Pentecost, <em data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"433\">\u201cTherefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ\u201d<\/em> (Acts 2:36). He is the very One who, as the Lamb, will hold the book and open the seals of judgment (Revelation 5).<\/p><p data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"1327\">Of this One, Paul prays for the saints at Ephesus: <em data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"1306\">\u201cThe eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all\u201d<\/em> (Ephesians 1:18\u201323).<\/p><p data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1566\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<br \/><\/strong>This same One is <em data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1545\">\u201cable to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
