De Leider van Lofprijzing<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ik zal Uw naam aan mijn broeders verkondigen; te midden van de vergadering zal ik U prijzen.
Psalm 22:22<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

Onze tekst van vandaag gaat over de opstanding. We lezen in Johannes 20:17 dat de Heer Jezus na Zijn opstanding de naam van de Vader verkondigde en tegen Maria zei: "Ga naar Mijn broeders en zusters en zeg tegen hen: 'Ik ga op naar Mijn Vader en jullie Vader, naar Mijn God en jullie God.'"\u201c<\/p>

In Hebree\u00ebn 2:12 zien we dit vers aangehaald, waarin opnieuw wordt verwezen naar onze opgestane Heer, te midden van de gemeente, die de zijnen voorgaat in lofprijzing aan de Vader! Dit wijst naar een komende dag waarop dat Lam, alsof het pas geslacht was, voor de troon van God zal staan als het middelpunt van aanbidding en lofprijzing in de aanwezigheid van de Vader. Hij zal op een dag voor de Vader staan en zeggen: "Zie, hier ben Ik en de kinderen die God Mij gegeven heeft" (Hebree\u00ebn 2:13; vgl. Jesaja 8:18).<\/p>

Maar dit herinnert ons er ook aan wat onze Heer Jezus doet nu we in Zijn naam samenkomen. Hij neemt Zijn plaats in te midden van de heiligen en leidt ons in onze aanbidding en lofprijzing aan de Vader, terwijl we onze harten uitstorten in lofprijzing aan Hem. De Heer Jezus is zowel het voorwerp van lofprijzing als de goddelijke koorleider!<\/p>

Deze psalm eindigt met de erkenning dat de Heer Jezus zijn rechtmatige plaats onder het Joodse volk heeft ingenomen. Hij wordt geprezen en aanbeden als hun Messias (vv. 23-26), en Hij zal zijn rechtmatige plaats op aarde hebben, regerend in gerechtigheid en vrede (vv. 27-31).<\/p>

Terwijl we deze prachtige, maar ook ontnuchterende psalm overwegen, moet ons hart vervuld zijn van liefde voor Hem die geen zonde kende en toch tot zonde werd gemaakt voor ons. Neem even de tijd om stil te staan en Hem te prijzen voor wat Hij voor u aan het kruis op Golgotha heeft gedaan.<\/p><\/div>

Heer Jezus, wij aanbidden en buigen ons neer aan Uw voeten.,
