Brandoffer en zondoffer hebt U niet vereist. Toen zei ik: &quot;Zie, ik kom; in de boekrol staat over mij geschreven. Ik heb behagen in het doen van Uw wil, o mijn God, en Uw wet is in mijn hart.&quot;\u201c<br \/><strong>Psalm 40:6-8<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Psalm 40 is een messiaanse psalm omdat hij spreekt over de Heer Jezus Christus: Zijn menswording, de vrijwillige daad van Zijn komst en de kracht van Zijn offer.<\/p><p>In vers 6 lezen we over de ontoereikendheid van de Levitische offers: &quot;Offer en offergave hebt U niet gewild.&quot; Deze twee verwijzen naar het vredesoffer en het graanoffer, terwijl het brandoffer en het zondoffer daarna worden genoemd: &quot;Brandoffer en zondoffer hebt U niet vereist.&quot;\u201c<\/p><p>Merk op dat we tussen deze twee uitspraken lezen: &quot;U hebt mijn oren geopend.&quot; Dit spreekt over de opofferende, vrijwillige daad van de volmaakte Dienaar van God, de Heer Jezus Christus. Het herinnert ons aan Exodus 21:1-6, waar de dienaar wordt beschreven die zijn heer, zijn vrouw en zijn kinderen liefhad en niet vrijuit wilde gaan; de heer bracht hem naar de deur of naar de deurpost, en hij doorboorde zijn oor met een priem; dan zou de dienaar hem voor altijd dienen. De Heer Jezus is de volmaakte Dienaar van God, zoals we zien in de Liederen van de Dienaar van Jesaja (Jesaja 42, 49, 50, 52-53) en ook in het Evangelie van Marcus.<\/p><p>Zijn doel in deze wereld was om de wil te doen van Hem die Hem gezonden had. Hij kon zeggen: &quot;Ik heb er behagen in om Uw wil te doen, o mijn God.&quot; In Hebree\u00ebn 10:5 citeert de apostel de passage van vandaag als: &quot;Een lichaam hebt U voor Mij bereid,&quot; en in dat lichaam kon onze Heer zeggen: &quot;Mijn voedsel is om de wil te doen van Hem die Mij gezonden heeft en Zijn werk te voltooien&quot; (Joh. 4:34).<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Het overdenken van de grootheid en glorie van de Zoon van God zou ons ertoe moeten aanzetten om lof te uiten vanuit een hart vol aanbidding!<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Psalm of the Burnt Offering Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; my ears You have opened.
