Heb jij in geloof tot God geroepen? Wees ervan verzekerd dat Hij luistert! Psalm 55:22 moedigt ons aan: &quot;Werp je last op de Vader.&quot; <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Heer<\/span>, En Hij zal u steunen; Hij zal nooit toelaten dat de rechtvaardigen wankelen.\u201d<\/p><p>Peter maakte dit zelf mee, midden in een van de hevigste stormen die deze doorgewinterde visser ooit had meegemaakt. Toen de Heer hem uitnodigde te komen, stapte Peter uit de boot: &quot;Maar toen hij zag dat de wind hevig werd, werd hij bang. Hij begon te zinken en riep: &#039;Heer, red mij!&#039;&quot; (Matte\u00fcs 14:30). Peter riep de Heer aan te midden van de storm en &quot;onmiddellijk strekte Jezus zijn hand uit en greep hem vast&quot; (vers 31).<\/p><p>Charles Spurgeon werd vaak de Prins der Predikers genoemd, maar ook hij kende verdriet en depressie! Hij schreef: &quot;O beste vriend, wanneer je verdriet je tot in het stof drukt, aanbid daar dan! Als die plek jouw Getsemane is geworden, breng daar dan je luide geroep en tranen tot God. Denk aan Davids woorden: &#039;O volk, stort uw hart uit&#039; \u2013 maar stop daar niet, maak het citaat af \u2013 &#039;O volk, stort uw hart voor Hem uit.&#039; Keer het vat ondersteboven; het is goed om het leeg te maken, want dit verdriet kan verzuren tot iets nog zuurders. Keer het vat ondersteboven en laat elke druppel eruit lopen; maar laat het voor de Heer zijn.&quot; Elders zegt hij: &quot;Het is gemakkelijk om te zingen als we de noten bij daglicht kunnen lezen; maar de ware zanger is degene die kan zingen wanneer er geen lichtstraal is om bij te lezen \u2013 die zingt vanuit zijn hart, en niet vanuit een boek dat hij kan zien, omdat hij geen andere manier heeft om te lezen dan vanuit dat innerlijke boek van zijn eigen levende geest, waaruit noten van dankbaarheid voortvloeien in lofzangen.&quot;\u201c<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/><em>Zijn we zwak en zwaarbelast?, <\/em><br \/><em>Belast met een hoop zorgen? <\/em><br \/><em>Kostbare Verlosser, nog steeds onze toevlucht \u2014 <\/em><br \/><em>Breng het in gebed tot de Heer;<\/em><br \/><em>\u2013 Joseph Scriven<\/em><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pouring Out Your Heart Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him.Psalm 62:8 Our Father wants His children to call to Him with the burdens of their heart.
