En als een rietstengel te beschadigd raakte, gooide de herder hem gewoon weg. Ben jij een gebroken rietstengel? Kun je niet langer prachtige muziek maken in dienst van de Heer? Als je leven zo gekwetst is, je geest, je hart of je lichaam, en je denkt: &quot;O, ik ben voor niemand meer van nut&quot;, dan zegt de Heer Jezus misschien wel tegen je: &quot;Kom naar Mij; breng Mij je gekwetste hart, geest of lichaam, en Ik zal het gebruiken. Ik zal nooit een gekwetste rietstengel breken.&quot;\u201c<\/p><p>De Heer Jezus wil dat wij de muziek zijn voor deze gebroken wereld! Paulus en Silas, geslagen en mishandeld, in de gevangenis geworpen en met hun voeten in de stocks, baden en zongen lofliederen voor God midden in de nacht, en de gevangenen hoorden hen (Handelingen 16:25). Ze zaten gevangen vanwege hun trouw aan de levende God, maar Hij legde een lied in hun hart. Stel dat ze die nacht niet hadden gezongen. Dan zouden we Handelingen 16:31 niet hebben: &quot;Geloof in de Heer Jezus Christus, en u zult gered worden, u en uw huisgezin.&quot; Als u midden in de nacht zingt, door de duisternis van uw hartzeer en beproeving, door teleurstelling en misverstand, zullen er altijd mensen zijn die gebonden zijn door zonde, angst, zorgen of twijfels, die het zullen horen, en de Heer zal hen kunnen bevrijden dankzij het lied in uw hart. Psalm 147:1 herinnert ons eraan: &quot;Loof de Heer en de Heer.&quot; <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Heer<\/span>!Want het is goed om lofliederen te zingen voor onze God; want het is aangenaam, en lofprijzing is mooi.\u201d Een andere psalm verklaart: \u201cIk zal de <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Heer<\/span> te allen tijde; Zijn lof zal voortdurend in mijn mond zijn\u201d (Psalm 34:1).<\/p><p>Brengt het vuur van lijden en beproeving zo&#039;n zoet lied uit je hart voort? Als je midden in een beproeving zit of lijdt, onthoud dan: Hij zal een geknakt riet niet breken!<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Hij laat beproevingen toe, opdat wij Hem te midden daarvan zouden bezingen en verheerlijken.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Song Of A Bruised Reed A bruised reed He will not break.
