En wees vriendelijk voor elkaar, vol medelijden, en vergeef elkaar, zoals God jullie in Christus vergeven heeft.\u201d<\/em> Soms is onze bitterheid het gevolg van onze eigen ongehoorzaamheid, zoals in Ruth 1:20. Daar zien we dat Naomi bitter werd door wat ze meemaakte toen zij en haar man God niet vertrouwden om voor hen te zorgen. Naomi was overweldigd door bitterheid en wilde zelfs haar naam veranderen in... <em data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"619\">Mara<\/em>, wat betekent <em data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"645\">bitterheid<\/em>.<\/p><p data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"1111\">Maar bitterheid ontstaat vaak doordat we elkaar niet vergeven. We worden keer op keer aangespoord om te vergeven, maar bitterheid krijgt de ruimte om op te bloeien wanneer ik ervoor kies om niet te vergeven. Bitterheid dringt zich op., <em data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"886\">\u201cIk heb het recht om verbitterd te zijn.\u201d<\/em> maar dat ontkent de waarheid dat <em data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1008\">\u201cIk ben met Christus gekruisigd; niet langer ik leef, maar Christus leeft in mij.\u201d<\/em> De bitterheid kleeft aan de details van de pijn. Het is alsof je gif drinkt en hoopt dat er iemand anders aan sterft.<\/p><p data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1995\">Bitterheid kan je geestelijk verwoesten en je beroven van het plezier in je relatie en gemeenschap met God. Het leidt tot een gebrek aan tevredenheid in ons leven. Bitterheid is een werktuig van Satan dat je ook fysiek kan vernietigen. Het berooft je van gemoedsrust en kan leiden tot depressie, stress, hoge bloeddruk, maagzweren, slapeloosheid en een scherpe, sarcastische en kwetsende tong. Bitterheid kan ervoor zorgen dat we kritisch en negatief worden. Er wordt wel gezegd:, <em data-start=\"1588\" data-end=\"1657\">\u201cNiet iedereen die ziek is, is verbitterd, maar iedereen die verbitterd is, is ziek.\u201d<\/em> Het ontmoedigt je ook emotioneel en brengt je in een emotionele achtbaan. Het verdeelt vrienden en be\u00efnvloedt de gemeenschap binnen de plaatselijke gemeente. Terugkomend op Hebree\u00ebn 12:15, staat daar het volgende vers:, <em data-start=\"1866\" data-end=\"1925\">\u201copdat er geen wortel van bitterheid opspringt die problemen veroorzaakt.\u201d<\/em> Dit woord <em data-start=\"1936\" data-end=\"1945\">probleem<\/em> betekent &quot;zich verdringen&quot;\u2014het heeft een effect op anderen.<\/p><p data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2108\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Het is tijd om de wortel van bitterheid in je leven uit te roeien! Belijd het aan de Heer en geef het aan Hem
