Ik heb u geschreven, jongemannen, omdat u sterk bent en het woord van God in u woont, en omdat u de boze hebt overwonnen.\u201d<\/em><br \/><strong><em>1 Johannes 2:14<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p class=\"p1\">De bejaarde apostel Johannes herinnert ons eraan hoe de overwinning van Christus zichtbaar is in het leven van hen die Hem volgen.<\/p><p data-start=\"64\" data-end=\"500\">In 1 Johannes 2:12-14 spreekt de apostel Johannes over drie groepen: kinderen, jongemannen en vaders. Het woord <em data-start=\"171\" data-end=\"181\">kinderen<\/em> In vers 12 wordt verwezen naar elke gelovige in Gods gezin wiens zonden zijn vergeven. <em data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"284\">vaders<\/em> zijn volwassen in hun wandel met de Heer \u2013 ze hebben Zijn trouw ervaren en bezitten een intieme kennis van Hem. Maar de <em data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"424\">jonge mannen<\/em> worden beschreven als overwinnaars; zij hebben de overwinning behaald op de boze.<\/p><p data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"984\">Maar de vraag moet gesteld worden: hoe hebben ze de boze overwonnen?<\/p><p data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"984\">Het antwoord is: op dezelfde manier als hun Heer en Redder deed toen Hij hier was \u2013 door het Woord van God. Ons wordt hun geheim onthuld: <em data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"793\">\u201cHet Woord van God woont in u, en u hebt de boze overwonnen.\u201d<\/em> Het was niet alleen dat zij in het Woord waren geweest, maar ook dat het Woord in hen was. Zoals de psalmist zei:, <em data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"968\">\u201cUw woord heb ik in mijn hart bewaard, opdat ik niet tegen U zou zondigen.\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 119:11).<\/p><p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1397\">Het perfecte voorbeeld van hoe het Woord van God gebruikt kan worden om de boze te overwinnen, is onze gezegende Verlosser Zelf. In Matthe\u00fcs 4 was de Heer Jezus in de woestijn, en telkens wanneer de duivel Hem probeerde te verleiden, antwoordde Hij door het Woord van God te gebruiken en te zeggen:, <em data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1255\">\u201cHet staat geschreven.\u201d<\/em> Het is het Woord van God dat ons in staat stelt de begeerte van de ogen, de begeerte van het vlees en de hoogmoed van het leven te overwinnen.<\/p><p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1397\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<br \/><\/strong><em>Moge het Woord van God rijkelijk in u wonen. <\/em><em>In mijn hart, van uur tot uur, <\/em><br \/><em>Zodat allen mijn triomf mogen zien <\/em><em>Alleen door Zijn kracht. <br \/>\u2013 Kate Wilkinson<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Triumph Through The Word \u201cI have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
