I Am The Truth<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u201cI am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.\u201d<\/em>
John 14:6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

Again, the Lord Jesus used the definite article to emphasize Himself as \u201cthe only truth.\u201d
Pilate once asked Jesus, \u201cWhat is truth?\u201d<\/em> (John 18:38<\/em>), but he wasn\u2019t willing to surrender to the One who is the Truth.<\/p>

Psalm 119:142 says, \u201cYour law is the truth.\u201d<\/em> In the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord repeatedly declared, \u201cYou have heard that it was said\u2026 but I say to you\u2026\u201d<\/em> (Matthew 5:22, 28, 32, 34, 39, 44<\/em>). In doing so, He was equating Himself with the Law of God as the authoritative standard of righteousness. He made it clear that He came not to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them (Matthew 5:17<\/em>).<\/p>

The Lord Jesus, as the incarnate Word of God (John 1:1<\/em>), is the source of all truth.<\/p>

Psalm 1:1\u20132 says:<\/p>

\u201cBlessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

If we want to fully experience the blessing of these verses, we must not separate the way from the truth. They are inseparably linked in Christ.<\/p>

The Lord Jesus prayed to the Father:<\/p>

\u201cSanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth.\u201d <\/em>(John 17:17<\/em>)<\/p><\/blockquote>

He is the Truth, and His Word is the truth.<\/p>

It is also helpful to notice that our Lord promised the disciples that He would send the Spirit of truth, who would dwell in them\u2014and now dwells in us.<\/p>

John 14:17<\/em> \u2013 The Spirit of truth would abide with them and be in them.
John 15:26<\/em> \u2013 The Spirit would testify of Christ, who is the Truth.
John 16:13\u201315<\/em> \u2013 The Spirit would guide them into all truth and glorify Christ.<\/p>
