Niemand komt tot de Vader dan door Mij.\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"297\" \/><strong><em data-start=\"297\" data-end=\"309\">Johannes 14:6<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"686\">De Heer gebruikte het bepaald lidwoord om Zichzelf te onderscheiden als \u201cde enige weg\u201d. <em data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"399\">manier<\/em> Het is een pad of een toegangsweg, en de discipelen waren in de war over waar Hij heen ging en hoe ze Hem konden volgen. Zoals Hij hen vanaf het begin had verteld, zegt Hij het nu opnieuw tegen hen (en tegen ons): &quot;Volg Mij.&quot; Er is geen ander pad naar de hemel, geen andere weg naar de Vader.<\/p><p data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"772\">Petrus bevestigde deze waarheid jaren later opnieuw toen hij tegen de leiders in Jeruzalem verklaarde: <em style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\" data-start=\"776\" data-end=\"894\">\u201cEr is geen redding in iemand anders, want er is geen andere naam onder de hemel aan de mensen gegeven waardoor wij gered moeten worden.\u201d<\/em><em data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"912\">Handelingen 4:12) <\/em>Het exclusieve karakter van de enige weg naar verlossing wordt duidelijk uitgedrukt in de woorden:, <em data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1021\">\u201cIk ben de weg.\u201d<\/em> Hij is de deur van de schapen (<em data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1066\">Johannes 10:9<\/em>) en de smalle poort (<em data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1110\">Matte\u00fcs 7:13-14<\/em>).<\/p><p data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1236\">Maar Jezus is niet alleen de Weg tot verlossing. <em data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1226\">Hebree\u00ebn 10:19-22<\/em>, lezen we:<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1633\"><p data-start=\"1240\" data-end=\"1633\"><em data-start=\"1240\" data-end=\"1633\">\u201cDaarom, broeders, laten wij, met vrijmoedigheid, het Heilige der Heiligen binnengaan door het bloed van Jezus, langs een nieuwe en levende weg die Hij voor ons heeft ingewijd, door het voorhangsel, dat wil zeggen, Zijn lichaam, en laten wij, nu wij een Hogepriester hebben over het huis van God, met een oprecht hart en vol vertrouwen in het geloof tot Hem naderen, met een geweten dat gereinigd is van een slecht geweten en met een lichaam dat gewassen is met rein water.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"1757\">Door onze grote Hogepriester, de Heer Jezus Christus, hebben we nu een compleet nieuwe benadering van God en Zijn troon.<\/p><p data-start=\"1803\" data-end=\"1902\">Dit brengt ons bij een derde waarheid over Christus als de Weg: Hij leidt ons naar een nieuwe manier van aanbidden. <em data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"1915\">Johannes 4<\/em>, De Heer Jezus sprak met de vrouw bij de put over aanbidding. Hij zei:<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"1990\" data-end=\"2166\"><p data-start=\"1992\" data-end=\"2166\"><em data-start=\"1992\" data-end=\"2148\">\u201cMaar het uur komt, en is er nu al, dat de ware aanbidders de Vader zullen aanbidden in geest en waarheid; want de Vader zoekt zulke aanbidders.\u201d <\/em><em data-start=\"2153\" data-end=\"2166\">(Johannes 4:23)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"2168\" data-end=\"2361\">Hij had haar al verteld dat aanbidding niet langer beperkt was tot een bepaalde plaats.<em data-start=\"2239\" data-end=\"2285\">\u201cnoch op deze berg, noch in Jeruzalem.\u201d <\/em>In plaats daarvan wees Hij haar op de Persoon en de beginselen van ware aanbidding: <em style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\" data-start=\"2365\" data-end=\"2443\">\u201cGod is Geest, en wie Hem aanbidt, moet Hem in geest en waarheid aanbidden.\u201d <\/em>Jezus is de Weg waarlangs onze aanbidding opstijgt naar de Vader.<\/p><p data-start=\"2563\" data-end=\"2670\">Tot slot betekent Christus als de Weg dat onze gebeden in Zijn naam tot de Vader worden gebracht. Beginnend in <em data-start=\"2685\" data-end=\"2700\">Johannes 14:13-14<\/em>, In antwoord op de vraag van Filippus verwijst Jezus in deze hoofdstukken zeven keer naar het vragen in Zijn naam: (<em data-start=\"2813\" data-end=\"2855\">Johannes 14:13, 14, 26; 15:16; 16:23, 24, 26<\/em>We moeten in Zijn naam bidden \u2013 dat wil zeggen, in Zijn gezag en in overeenstemming met Zijn karakter. Hij is de Weg naar de Vader in het gebed.<\/p><p data-start=\"2563\" data-end=\"2670\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<br \/><\/strong>De Heer Jezus is de enige weg tot redding en toegang tot het huis van de Vader.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I Am The Way \u201cI am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
