Richting voor het leven<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cUw woord is een lamp voor mijn voeten en een licht op mijn pad.\u201d
Psalmen 119:105<\/strong><\/p>

We moeten allemaal honderden beslissingen nemen die de uitkomst van ons leven bepalen. Sommige zijn klein, andere groot, maar samen bepalen ze de richting van ons leven. In de complexe wereld waarin we leven, hebben we Gods wijsheid hard nodig om verstandige beslissingen te nemen.<\/p>

Heb je ooit het licht in een kamer uitgedaan en geprobeerd in het donker naar de andere kant te lopen? Ik heb wel eens het licht uitgedaan en geprobeerd door een kamer te lopen zonder tegen stoelen of andere obstakels aan te botsen. Wat enorm helpt, is het licht van onze telefoons!<\/p>

Deze wereld is een donkere plek, vol obstakels waar we over kunnen struikelen. Maar Gods Woord is onze bron van licht. Het wijst ons de weg van Gods wijsheid, zodat we in het donker niet onze schenen hoeven te stoten.<\/p>

Psalm 119:18, 24, 98-101, 104, 105 en 130 spreken allemaal over deze waarheid. Dit soort wijsheid komt niet voort uit het negeren van het Woord totdat er een crisis ontstaat en het dan pas openslaan voor noodhulp.<\/p>

Misschien kent u het verhaal van de man die Gods wil wilde weten, dus opende hij willekeurig een Bijbel en wees naar een vers. Er stond:, \u201cJudas ging heen en verhing zichzelf.\u201d<\/em> Omdat hij dacht dat dat niet klopte, probeerde hij het opnieuw. Het volgende couplet luidde:, \u201cGa heen en doe hetzelfde.\u201d<\/em> Verstoord probeerde hij het nog een keer, en het vers waarop hij terechtkwam luidde:, \u201c"Wat je doet, doe het snel!"\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Gods wijsheid en leiding komen niet voort uit toevallige ontmoetingen met de Schrift. Ze komen voort uit een diepe, standvastige kennis van Zijn Woord \u2013 verworven in de loop der jaren, terwijl iemand nauw met Hem wandelt.<\/p>
