De Eeuwige God<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Heer, U bent onze woonplaats geweest door alle generaties heen. Voordat de bergen er waren of U de hele wereld schiep, van eeuwigheid tot eeuwigheid bent U God.
Psalm 90:1-2<\/strong><\/p>

Nu we een nieuw jaar ingaan, vragen we ons natuurlijk af wat de toekomst ons zal brengen. Zal dit jaar vreugde of verdriet brengen? Succes of tegenslag? Vrede of chaos?<\/p>

In onze onzekerheid vinden we troost in de wetenschap dat, hoewel alles om ons heen verandert, onze God onveranderlijk blijft. Mozes begreep deze waarheid ten volle toen hij Psalm 90 schreef. Hij was getuige geweest van Gods trouw gedurende decennia van omzwervingen in de woestijn, en had gezien hoe de Heer standvastig bleef, zelfs toen Zijn volk wankelde. Dezelfde God die Mozes leidde, is de God die ons vandaag leidt.<\/p>

In tegenstelling tot ons bestaat God buiten de grenzen van de tijd. Hij veroudert niet, wordt niet moe en verandert niet van gedachten op basis van omstandigheden. Wanneer we ons overweldigd voelen door de onzekerheden van het leven, kunnen we ons hart verankeren in Zijn onveranderlijke karakter. Zijn liefde voor jou is vandaag dezelfde als gisteren \u2013 en dezelfde als morgen.<\/p>

Dit eeuwige perspectief verandert alles. In plaats van heen en weer geslingerd te worden door elke windvlaag van verandering, kunnen we rusten in de stabiliteit van onze onveranderlijke God. Hij is je toevlucht in elk seizoen, je constante in elke verandering, je vrede in elke storm.<\/p>

Nu je aan dit nieuwe jaar begint, onthoud dit: de God die je door alle voorgaande jaren heen heeft geleid, is dezelfde God die ook in de komende dagen met je mee zal gaan. Zijn karakter, Zijn beloften en Zijn liefde voor jou zullen nooit veranderen.<\/p>

Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong>
De tijd verstrijkt. Jaren en dagen gaan voorbij. Alles kan veranderen... maar Jezus Christus verandert nooit.
