Wees Hem dankbaar en prijs Zijn naam. Want de HEER is goed, Zijn barmhartigheid duurt eeuwig en Zijn trouw blijft tot in alle geslachten.\u201d<\/em><br \/><strong><em>Psalmen 100:4-5<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>Dankbaarheid aan God is de erkenning dat God in Zijn goedheid en trouw voor ons heeft gezorgd en ons zowel lichamelijk als geestelijk heeft beschermd. Het is de erkenning dat we volledig van Hem afhankelijk zijn en dat alles wat we zijn en hebben van God komt.<\/p><p>God verheerlijken betekent de majesteit en waardigheid van Zijn persoon erkennen. God danken betekent de overvloed van Zijn hand erkennen, die voor ons zorgt en in ons levensonderhoud voorziet.<\/p><p>Het voornaamste doel van het danken van God is het erkennen van Zijn goedheid en Hem te eren. Psalm 50:23 zegt: &quot;Wie dankoffers brengt, eert Mij.&quot; Psalm 106:1-2 zegt: &quot;Loof de HEER! Dank de HEER, want Hij is goed. Zijn liefde duurt tot in eeuwigheid. Wie kan de machtige daden van de HEER verkondigen of Zijn lof ten volle uitspreken?&quot; Wanneer we de HEER danken, verkondigen we Zijn machtige daden en erkennen we Zijn goedheid.<\/p><p>Hij is het meest waardig om geprezen en gedankt te worden, vooral als wij tot Zijn verloste volk behoren. Want Hij heeft ons gezegend, niet alleen in de aardse wereld, maar ook met alle geestelijke zegeningen in de hemelse gewesten.<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Denk aan de zegeningen die God je door Christus heeft gegeven.
