Zijn barmhartigheid duurt tot in eeuwigheid.\u201d<\/em><br \/><em><strong>1 Kronieken 16:34<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"127\" data-end=\"674\">Alles wat goed is in ons leven komt van onze Vader in de hemel (Jakobus 1:17), en jij en ik zouden er een gewoonte van moeten maken om een dankbare houding te ontwikkelen. Wanneer het moeilijk wordt, is het gemakkelijk om te klagen of kritisch te zijn. Maar probeer in plaats daarvan dankbaar te zijn. Als dankbaarheid onze automatische reactie zou worden in plaats van kritiek of geklaag, zouden we gelukkiger mensen zijn! Als we meer tijd zouden besteden aan het inventariseren van wat we <em data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"553\">hebben<\/em> in plaats van wat wij <em data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"585\">hebben niet<\/em>, Dan zouden we een tevredener volk worden. We moeten onze denkwijze herprogrammeren (Fil. 4:8).<\/p><p data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"1189\">Paulus zegt tegen de Thessalonicenzen dat ze in alle omstandigheden dankbaar moeten zijn, omdat het Gods wil is (1 Thess. 5:18). Het is voor ons onmogelijk om in elke situatie het volledige plaatje te zien. Romeinen 8:28 herinnert ons eraan dat God in alle dingen aan het werk is en ze laat meewerken tot ons welzijn en tot Zijn eer.<\/p><p data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"1189\">Daarom kunnen jij en ik dankbaar zijn \u2013 in de wetenschap dat onze Vader achter de schermen Zijn soevereine plannen in ons leven uitvoert. Zo kunnen we Hem prijzen, ook als het leven goed gaat. <em data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1164\">En <\/em>terwijl we denken dat het niet zo is.<\/p><p data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1452\">We beseffen vaak niet hoe krachtig dankbaarheid in ons leven kan zijn. Kijk eens terug op je leven en bedenk hoe de moeilijke tijden je hebben gevormd \u2013 zoals de gladde stenen die David opraapte om Goliath te verslaan. De Heer gebruikt ons verdriet en onze worstelingen om ons te vormen naar het beeld van Zijn Zoon en om ons tot bruikbare instrumenten voor Zijn glorie te maken.\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1675\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Een dankbaar hart stelt ons in staat verder te kijken dan onze directe omstandigheden, be\u00efnvloedt het leven van anderen op betekenisvolle wijze en brengt uiteindelijk eer aan God.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thinking Thankfully \u201cOh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
