Het is goed de HEER te danken en lofliederen te zingen tot Uw naam, o Allerhoogste. <\/em>
Psalm 92:1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

De Schrift draagt ons op de Heer te danken voor veel dingen. We moeten Hem danken voor wie Hij is. Psalm 30:4 zegt:, \u201c"Zing lofliederen voor de Heer, jullie heiligen van Hem, en dank Hem bij de gedachtenis aan Zijn heilige naam."\u201d<\/em> We moeten dankbaar zijn, want Hij is altijd dicht bij ons. \u201cWij danken U, o God, wij danken U! Want Uw wonderwerken verkondigen dat Uw naam nabij is.\u201d <\/em>Psalm 75:1<\/p>

Paulus dankte God voor zijn verlossing en voor het voorrecht Hem te dienen. \u201cEn ik dank Christus Jezus, onze Heer, die mij daartoe in staat heeft gesteld, omdat Hij mij trouw achtte en mij in de bediening heeft geplaatst, hoewel ik vroeger een godslasteraar, een vervolger en een onbeschaamde man was; maar ik heb genade ontvangen, omdat ik het in onwetendheid en ongeloof deed.\u201d<\/em> 1 Timote\u00fcs 1:12-13<\/p>

Paulus dankte ook voor de geestelijke groei die hij bij anderen zag: \u201cWij zijn verplicht God altijd voor jullie te danken, broeders, zoals het betaamt, omdat jullie geloof enorm groeit en de liefde van ieder van jullie voor elkaar overvloedig is.\u201d<\/em> 2 Thessalonicenzen 1:3<\/p>

E\u00e9n ding dat wij als christenen nooit uit het oog mogen verliezen \u2013 en waarvoor we altijd dankbaar moeten zijn \u2013 is de persoon en het werk van Christus. In 2 Korinti\u00ebrs 9:15 roept Paulus uit:, \u201cGod zij dank voor Zijn onbeschrijflijke gave!\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Maar er is nog een reden waarom het goed is om de Heer te danken, namelijk vanwege wat dankzegging teweegbrengt. in ons<\/em>Dankbaarheid maakt ons dankbaar, en dankbaarheid is iets goeds en noodzakelijks. Elke dag is een dag om God te danken. Het is goed om als dankbare mensen te leven. De fysieke, verbale handeling van het zeggen van dankbaarheid, \u201cDank U, Heer,\u201d<\/em> Het houdt ons op een pad van dankbaarheid. We worden mensen die \u201cin alles\u201d dankbaar zijn. 1 Thessalonicenzen 5:18<\/p>
