Ik heb geplant, Apollos heeft water gegeven, maar God heeft de groei gegeven. Dus noch de planter, noch de watergever is iets, maar God, die de groei geeft. Nu zijn de planter en de watergever \u00e9\u00e9n, en ieder zal zijn eigen beloning ontvangen naar zijn eigen arbeid.\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"510\" \/><strong data-start=\"510\" data-end=\"533\">1 Korinti\u00ebrs 3:5-8<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"747\">De gemeente in Korinthe had veel problemen, en een van de eerste die genoemd wordt, is dat ze mensgericht waren in plaats van Christusgericht. We zien dit in hoofdstuk 1, waar Paulus schreef:<\/p><p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"1339\"><em data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"1321\">\u201cNu smeek ik u, broeders, in de naam van onze Heer Jezus Christus, dat u allen hetzelfde zegt en dat er geen verdeeldheid onder u is, maar dat u volkomen eensgezind bent in dezelfde gezindheid en hetzelfde oordeel. Want mij is door de mensen uit het huisgezin van Chlo\u00eb verteld dat er onder u twist is. Ik zeg u dit: ieder van u zegt: \u2018Ik ben van Paulus,\u2019 of \u2018Ik ben van Apollos,\u2019 of \u2018Ik ben van Kefas,\u2019 of \u2018Ik ben van Christus.\u2019 Is Christus dan verdeeld? Is Paulus voor u gekruisigd? Of bent u gedoopt in de naam van Paulus?\u201d<\/em> (1 Korinti\u00ebrs 1:10-13).<\/p><p data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1656\">Het is gemakkelijk voor ons om een man van God te verheffen, door onze blik te richten op de gave die Christus aan het lichaam heeft gegeven (Efezi\u00ebrs 4:11), in plaats van op de Gever van die gave Zelf. Daarom plaatst Paulus het kruis voor de Korinti\u00ebrs in hoofdstuk 1. Het kruis zet de mens volledig opzij en stelt Hem centraal. <em data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1631\">de Man,<\/em> Jezus Christus, voor ons.<\/p><p data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1953\">Paulus noemt deze focus op de mens vleselijkheid \u2013 leven naar het vlees. Hij vraagt:, <em data-start=\"1741\" data-end=\"1937\">\u201cWant waar er afgunst, strijd en verdeeldheid onder jullie is, gedraagt u zich dan niet als vleselijke wezens? Want als de een zegt: \u2018Ik ben een volgeling van Paulus,\u2019 en de ander: \u2018Ik ben een volgeling van Apollos,\u2019 gedraagt u zich dan niet als vleselijke wezens?\u201d<\/em> (1 Korinti\u00ebrs 3:3-4).<\/p><p data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2389\">Christus heeft als het verrezen Hoofd gaven aan Zijn lichaam gegeven. Er is niets mis mee om die gaven te waarderen, maar we moeten vooral voor ogen houden dat de vrucht van die gaven van de Heer komt. Twee keer lezen we in onze passage:, <em data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2213\">\u201cMaar God gaf de groei.\u201d<\/em> En <em data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2249\">\u201cMaar God geeft de groei.\u201d<\/em> Alle vruchten die er zijn, of ooit zullen komen, zijn er omdat God de groei geeft. Het instrument dat Hij gebruikt is slechts een kanaal \u2013 en niets meer.<\/p><p data-start=\"2391\" data-end=\"2506\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Wanneer onze ogen gericht zijn op het verrezen Hoofd, kunnen onze harten zeggen:, <em data-start=\"2458\" data-end=\"2470\">\u201cMaar God,\u201d<\/em> en onze monden kunnen Hem lofprijzen!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God Gives The Increase \u201cWho then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?
