Paulus legt uit dat zij <em data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"727\">\u201cZij zijn afgedwaald van de waarheid door te zeggen dat de opstanding al heeft plaatsgevonden; en zij hebben het geloof van sommigen ondermijnd.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"1012\">Daartegenover staat &quot;Maar God&quot;. Dit kan ook vertaald worden als &quot;Echter, God&quot;, &quot;Toch God&quot; of &quot;Niettemin, God&quot;. Hoe we dit voegwoord ook vertalen, het doel ervan is om de wispelturige wegen van de mens in de laatste dagen te contrasteren met de standvastige en onveranderlijke wegen van God.<\/p><p data-start=\"1014\" data-end=\"1690\">Het woord <em data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1031\">\u201c&quot;stevig&quot;\u201d<\/em> De beschrijving van het fundament spreekt over het solide, standvastige en permanent verankerde werk van God. Dit fundament sluit wellicht aan bij wat Paulus eerder beschreef als... <em data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1298\">\u201cHet huis van God, dat is de kerk van de levende God, de pilaar en het fundament van de waarheid.\u201d<\/em> Hier in <em data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1318\">2 Timote\u00fcs<\/em>, Paulus beschrijft dit huis echter niet als het \u201chuis van God\u201d, maar als het <em data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1409\">\u201cgroot huis,\u201d<\/em> waar <em data-start=\"1416\" data-end=\"1530\">\u201cEr zijn niet alleen vaten van goud en zilver, maar ook van hout en klei, sommige voor eer en andere voor oneer.\u201d<\/em> (2 Tim. 2:20). Wat de uiterlijke omstandigheden in deze laatste dagen ook mogen zijn, jij en ik kunnen vertrouwen op de waarheid dat <em data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1688\">Gods vaste fundament staat overeind!<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"2192\">Het woord <em data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1711\">\u201cstaat\u201d<\/em> draagt de gedachte van <em data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"1757\">blijven staan.<\/em> Dit komt overeen met wat de Heer Jezus tegen Petrus zei toen hij verklaarde:, <em data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"1884\">\u201cJij bent de Christus, de Zoon van de levende God.\u201d<\/em> De Heer antwoordde in <em data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"1925\">Matte\u00fcs 16:17-18<\/em>, zeggende:, <em data-start=\"1935\" data-end=\"2190\">\u201cZalig ben jij, Simon Bar-Jona, want niet vlees en bloed heeft je dit geopenbaard, maar Mijn Vader die in de hemel is. En Ik zeg je ook: jij bent Petrus, en op deze rots zal Ik Mijn kerk bouwen, en de poorten van de Hades zullen haar niet overwinnen.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"2194\" data-end=\"2467\">Deze stichting heeft een zegel \u2013 een teken van goddelijke zekerheid. Het is een eigendomszegel: <em data-start=\"2276\" data-end=\"2313\">\u201cDe Heer kent hen die van Hem zijn.\u201d<\/em> Het is een veiligheidszegel: <em data-start=\"2340\" data-end=\"2359\">\u201cHet zal blijven staan.\u201d<\/em> En het is een zegel van heiliging: <em data-start=\"2396\" data-end=\"2465\">\u201c&quot;Iedereen die de naam van de Heer belijdt, moet zich afkeren van de ongerechtigheid.&quot;\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"2469\" data-end=\"2592\"><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>In moeilijke tijden \u2013 blijf volhouden. Wees trouw totdat we Zijn gezegende aangezicht zullen zien!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God&#8217;s Firm
