Maar toen hij nog ver weg was, zag zijn vader hem en kreeg medelijden. Hij rende naar hem toe, omhelsde hem en kuste hem\u2026 Maar de vader zei tegen zijn dienaren: \u2018Breng het beste gewaad tevoorschijn en trek het hem aan, en doe een ring om zijn vinger en sandalen aan zijn voeten.\u2019\u201d<\/em><br data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"466\" \/><strong data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"484\">Lucas 15:20, 22<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"513\" data-end=\"1179\">In Lucas 15 vinden we een gelijkenis met drie delen, die elk een ander aspect beschrijven van Gods liefde die nooit iemand in de steek laat. In de verzen 1-7 zien we de zoekende Herder die achter het verdwaalde, verloren schaap aan gaat. Dit beeldt de liefde van de Heer Jezus, de Goede Herder, uit, die Zijn leven geeft voor de schapen. Vervolgens zien we in de verzen 8-10 God de Heilige Geest afgebeeld in de vrouw met de verloren munt. Ze steekt een lamp aan en veegt het huis totdat ze vindt wat verloren was. Wat een prachtig beeld van het werk van de Heilige Geest in ons leven \u2013 het aansteken van de lamp van Gods Woord, schijnen met overtuigende kracht en het doordringen van onze harten en gewetens.<\/p><p data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1790\">Het laatste beeld dat in Lucas 15 wordt geschetst, is dat van de verloren zoon. Het woord <em data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1279\">kwistig<\/em> betekent &quot;verspillend&quot;. Deze zoon had een opstandig hart en wilde de erfenis die hem toekwam na de dood van zijn vader. Het enige probleem was dat zijn vader nog springlevend was. Maar dat weerhield de eigenzinnige zoon er niet van te zeggen: &quot;Geef me het deel van de goederen dat mij toekomt.&quot; In feite zei hij: &quot;Vader, ik wou dat je dood was, zodat ik mijn erfenis kon krijgen.&quot; De vader gaf beide zonen hun erfenis, en deze zoon vluchtte naar een ver land en gaf alles uit aan een verkwistend leven.<\/p><p data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"2466\">Toen zijn erfenis op was en hij al zijn middelen had opgebruikt \u2013 inclusief een baantje als varkenshoeder, waarvan hij het voer met plezier had gegeten \u2013 besloot hij naar huis te gaan. Hij had zijn erfenis verkwist, zijn jeugd verkwist en zijn reputatie te gronde gericht. Maar al die tijd dat hij weg was, wachtte zijn vader! Toen hij nog ver weg was, zag zijn vader hem en kreeg medelijden. De zoon had een toespraak voorbereid en was begonnen die voor te lezen, maar zijn vader overlaadde hem met kussen van verzoening. Daarna kleedde de vader hem in een gewaad, schoof een ring om zijn vinger en deed sandalen aan zijn voeten. Al deze dingen spraken boekdelen voor de omstanders. <em data-start=\"2418\" data-end=\"2427\">zoonschap<\/em>&quot;Mijn zoon, die dood was, leeft nu weer!&quot;\u201c<\/p><p data-start=\"2468\" data-end=\"2765\"><strong>Ankers voor het leven<br \/><\/strong>Wij waren net als die verloren zoon, maar God de Vader was er! Zijn hart was vol mededogen, en hoewel we het niet verdienden, nam Hij ons op in een positie van kindschap. Twee keer lezen we in dit verhaal: &quot;Maar de Vader.&quot; Moge die genade ons overweldigen en ons ertoe aanzetten Hem te prijzen voor alles wat Hij voor ons heeft gedaan!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>But The Father&#8230; \u201cAnd he arose and came to his father.
