Luister in plaats daarvan naar het onfeilbare Woord van God. <em data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"770\">\u201cVoorwaar, Ik zeg u: wie in Mij gelooft, heeft eeuwig leven.\u201d<\/em> (Johannes 6:47).<\/p><p data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"960\">Veel mensen worden verontrust door de meningen van anderen of door de gevoelens in hun eigen hart. Pas wanneer ze de zekerheid van Gods Woord ontvangen, wordt twijfel vervangen door zekerheid.<\/p><p data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1292\">Wanneer God spreekt, moet er zekerheid zijn \u2013 of het nu gaat om de verdoemenis van de ongelovige of de redding van de gelovige. <em data-start=\"1092\" data-end=\"1143\">\u201cVoor eeuwig, o Heer, is Uw woord vastgelegd in de hemel.\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 119:89). Zijn Woord beslecht alles. <em data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1273\">\u201c&quot;Heeft Hij het gezegd, en zal Hij het niet doen? Of heeft Hij gesproken, en zal Hij het niet waarmaken?&quot;\u201d<\/em> (Numeri 23:19).<\/p><p data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1568\">Maar u vraagt zich misschien af, <em data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1379\">\u201cHoe kan ik er zeker van zijn dat ik voldoende van het juiste soort geloof heb?\u201d<\/em> Het gaat niet om de aard of de omvang van je geloof, maar om de betrouwbaarheid van de Persoon in wie je je vertrouwen stelt. Heb je vertrouwen in de juiste Persoon: de Zoon van God?<\/p><p data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1842\">Zorg ervoor dat je vertrouwen niet gebaseerd is op goede werken, religieuze activiteiten, gevoelens of morele opvoeding. Je kunt het sterkste geloof in zulke dingen hebben en toch voor eeuwig verloren gaan. Maar het zwakste geloof in Christus redt voor eeuwig; het sterkste geloof in jezelf is waardeloos.<\/p><p data-start=\"1844\" data-end=\"2167\">De blik naar buiten brengt innerlijke vrede. Wanneer een mens zijn gezicht naar de zon wendt, valt zijn schaduw achter hem. Je kunt niet tegelijkertijd naar jezelf en naar de verheerlijkte Christus in de hemel kijken. Gods Zoon wint je vertrouwen, Zijn volbrachte werk geeft je eeuwige zekerheid en Gods Woord schenkt je de zekerheid van verlossing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assurance Of
