Way Of Salvation\u00a0<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7d8993e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7d8993e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">In the Old Testament, God told the Israelites, \u201cEvery firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem\u201d (Ex.13:13). <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Travel back in time with me about 3000 years. A priest is talking to a poor Israelite about the little donkey standing beside them. The poor man says, \u201cCan\u2019t you make a merciful exception for me just this once? This is my firstborn donkey, and although I know what God\u2019s law says, can\u2019t its life be spared? I can\u2019t afford to lose this little animal.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">The priest says, \u201cGod\u2019s law is very plain. Unless the donkey is redeemed by the death of a lamb, its neck must be broken.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">\u201cBut I don\u2019t have a lamb.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">\u201cThen go buy one. The lamb or the donkey must die.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><div>The Israelite sadly replies, \u201cThen it\u2019s hopeless because I can\u2019t afford a lamb.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Another man who overhears the discussion approaches the poor Israelite and says, \u201cCheer up! I have a little lamb which is without spot or blemish. Although it means much to me, I will give it to you.\u201d Away he goes, and soon both donkey and lamb are standing side-by-side. Then the lamb is placed on the altar, its blood is shed and it is consumed by the fire.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>The priest turns to the poor man and says, \u201cYou can take your donkey home. Its neck will not be broken because the lamb has died in its place. Your donkey can live and righteously go free, thanks to your friend.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>This little story gives us a picture of a sinner\u2019s salvation. God\u2019s claim against sin demands a \u201cbroken neck\u201d \u2013 a righteous judgment on you. The only alternative is the death of a Substitute approved by God. No matter how hard you try, you cannot meet God\u2019s requirement. However, God Himself provided the Lamb in the person of His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. John the Baptist referred to Him as \u201cthe Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world\u201d (Jn. 1:29).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Jesus went to Calvary\u2019s cross \u201cas a Lamb to the slaughter\u201d (Isa. 53:7). There He \u201csuffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God\u201d (1 Pet. 3:18). He \u201cwas delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification\u201d (Rom. 4:25). God does not reduce His judgment against sin when He forgives the sinner (Rom. 3:25-26). Jesus had to pay the penalty in full.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>How do you answer this question: \u201cDo you believe on the Son of God?\u201d If you reply, \u201cI have found Him to be the One I can safely trust as my Lord and Savior,\u201d then God credits you with the full value of Jesus\u2019 sacrifice.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>God\u2019s love, the glory of His precious Son and the salvation of the sinner are all bound together. What a bundle of grace and glory! God\u2019s own Son does all the work, and you and I \u2013 poor, guilty sinners who believe in Him \u2013 get all the blessing. \u201cOh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together\u201d (Ps. 34:3).\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-594 elementor-widget elementor-widget-template\" data-id=\"594\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"template.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div
