van de Verlossing\u00a0<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7d8993e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7d8993e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">In het Oude Testament zei God tegen de Isra\u00eblieten: &quot;Elke eerstgeborene van een ezel moet u met een lam verlossen; en als u hem niet verlost, dan moet u hem de nek breken. En alle eerstgeborenen van de mens onder uw zonen moet u verlossen&quot; (Exodus 13:13). <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Reis met mij zo&#039;n 3000 jaar terug in de tijd. Een priester spreekt met een arme Isra\u00ebliet over het ezeltje dat naast hen staat. De arme man zegt: &quot;Kunt u voor mij niet eens een uitzondering maken? Dit is mijn eerstgeboren ezeltje, en hoewel ik weet wat Gods wet zegt, kan zijn leven dan niet gespaard worden? Ik kan het me niet veroorloven dit diertje te verliezen.&quot;\u201c\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">De priester zegt: &quot;Gods wet is heel duidelijk. Als de ezel niet verlost wordt door de dood van een lam, moet zijn nek gebroken worden.&quot;\u201c\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">\u201cMaar ik heb geen lam.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">\u201cGa er dan eentje kopen. Het lam of de ezel moet dood.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><div>De Isra\u00ebliet antwoordt bedroefd: &quot;Dan is het hopeloos, want ik kan me geen lam veroorloven.&quot;\u201c\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Een andere man die het gesprek afluistert, komt naar de arme Isra\u00ebliet toe en zegt: &#039;Wees niet getreurd! Ik heb een lammetje zonder vlek of gebrek. Hoewel het me veel betekent, zal ik het je geven.&#039; Hij loopt weg, en al snel staan ezel en lam naast elkaar. Dan wordt het lam op het altaar gelegd, zijn bloed wordt vergoten en het wordt door het vuur verteerd.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>De priester wendt zich tot de arme man en zegt: &quot;Je kunt je ezel mee naar huis nemen. Zijn nek zal niet gebroken worden, want het lam is in zijn plaats gestorven. Je ezel kan leven en rechtvaardig vrij rondlopen, dankzij je vriend.&quot;\u201c\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Dit korte verhaal schetst een beeld van de redding van een zondaar. Gods aanspraak op de zonde eist een &quot;gebroken nek&quot; \u2013 een rechtvaardig oordeel over jou. Het enige alternatief is de dood van een door God goedgekeurde Plaatsvervanger. Hoe hard je ook je best doet, je kunt niet aan Gods eis voldoen. God Zelf heeft echter het Lam verschaft in de persoon van Zijn geliefde Zoon, Jezus Christus. Johannes de Doper noemde Hem &quot;het Lam van God dat de zonde van de wereld wegneemt&quot; (Joh. 1:29).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Jezus ging naar het kruis op Golgotha \u201cals een Lam ter slachting\u201d (Jesaja 53:7). Daar \u201cleed Hij eens voor de zonden, de Rechtvaardige voor de onrechtvaardigen, opdat Hij ons tot God zou brengen\u201d (1 Petrus 3:18). Hij \u201cwerd overgeleverd vanwege onze overtredingen en opgewekt vanwege onze rechtvaardiging\u201d (Romeinen 4:25). God vermindert Zijn oordeel over de zonde niet wanneer Hij de zondaar vergeeft (Romeinen 3:25-26). Jezus moest de straf volledig betalen.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Hoe beantwoord je deze vraag: &quot;Geloof je in de Zoon van God?&quot; Als je antwoordt: &quot;Ik heb Hem leren kennen als Degene die ik volkomen kan vertrouwen als mijn Heer en Redder,&quot; dan rekent God je de volle waarde van Jezus&#039; offer toe.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Gods liefde, de heerlijkheid van Zijn kostbare Zoon en de redding van de zondaar zijn allemaal met elkaar verbonden. Wat een bundel van genade en glorie! Gods eigen Zoon doet al het werk, en u en ik \u2013 arme, schuldige zondaars die in Hem geloven \u2013 ontvangen alle zegeningen. &quot;O, verheerlijk de HEER met mij, en laten wij samen Zijn naam verhogen&quot; (Psalm 34:3).\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-594 elementor-widget elementor-widget-template\" data-id=\"594\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"template.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div
