Tout au long de sa vie, on trouve mention de divers v\u00eatements qu&#039;il a port\u00e9s ou dont il a \u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9. Que pouvons-nous apprendre de Joseph et de ses v\u00eatements ?<\/p><p>La tunique multicolore \u00e9tait un v\u00eatement sp\u00e9cial que son p\u00e8re lui avait offert. Elle t\u00e9moignait assur\u00e9ment de sa faveur et symbolisait la faveur paternelle\u00a0! En tant que disciples de J\u00e9sus-Christ, nous sommes nous aussi favoris\u00e9s par notre P\u00e8re gr\u00e2ce et devons vivre chaque jour dans la pl\u00e9nitude de cette gr\u00e2ce. Ces v\u00eatements de faveur se transform\u00e8rent en v\u00eatements de souffrance lorsque ses fr\u00e8res s\u2019irrit\u00e8rent de la faveur accord\u00e9e \u00e0 Joseph (Gen\u00e8se 37.23-24). Alors que nous portons les v\u00eatements de sa gr\u00e2ce, Pierre nous rappelle\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Ayez une conduite irr\u00e9prochable parmi les pa\u00efens, afin que, s\u2019ils vous calomnient comme des malfaiteurs, ils glorifient Dieu, au jour de sa visitation, en remarquant vos bonnes \u0153uvres\u00a0\u201d (1 Pierre 2.12).<\/p><p>Chez Potiphar, Joseph fut agress\u00e9 par la femme de ce dernier. Elle le saisit par son v\u00eatement et chercha \u00e0 s&#039;en servir contre lui, l&#039;accusant de l&#039;avoir agress\u00e9e. Mais ce v\u00eatement \u00e9tait pour Joseph un symbole d&#039;int\u00e9grit\u00e9. Malgr\u00e9 ses souffrances, son int\u00e9grit\u00e9 demeura intacte. Pierre nous le rappelle : \u201c Quel m\u00e9rite y a-t-il \u00e0 supporter patiemment les coups re\u00e7us pour ses fautes ? Mais si, en faisant le bien, vous souffrez et que vous supportez cela patiemment, c&#039;est une gr\u00e2ce devant Dieu \u201d (1 Pierre 2:20).<\/p><p>Joseph \u00e9changea ses v\u00eatements de prisonnier, que l&#039;on pourrait qualifier de v\u00eatements d&#039;\u00e9preuve, contre des v\u00eatements de gloire (Gen\u00e8se 41:14, 42). Cela nous rappelle simplement que lorsque nous honorons le Seigneur dans nos \u00e9preuves et nos tribulations, en le pla\u00e7ant au premier plan, il nous honorera en retour\u00a0!<\/p><p>Le dernier v\u00eatement que Joseph changea fut ce que j&#039;appellerai le v\u00eatement de la foi. Il donna des instructions pour que son corps soit ramen\u00e9 en Terre promise (Gen\u00e8se 50:24-26). En tant que croyants, nous savons que \u201c si notre demeure terrestre, cette tente, est d\u00e9truite, nous avons dans les cieux un \u00e9difice qui est l&#039;\u0153uvre de Dieu, une maison \u00e9ternelle qui n&#039;est pas faite de main d&#039;homme\u2026 Car nous qui sommes dans cette tente, nous g\u00e9missons, accabl\u00e9s, non pas parce que nous d\u00e9sirons \u00eatre d\u00e9pouill\u00e9s, mais rev\u00eatus davantage, afin que la mortalit\u00e9 soit absorb\u00e9e par la vie \u201d (2 Corinthiens 5:1, 4).<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Quels que soient les v\u00eatements que nous portions tout au long de notre vie \u2014 qu&#039;il s&#039;agisse de faveur, de souffrance, d&#039;\u00e9preuve ou d&#039;exaltation \u2014 puissions-nous marcher dans la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 au Seigneur, sachant qu&#039;un jour nous serons rev\u00eatus de gloire en sa pr\u00e9sence !<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Garments Of Joseph \u201cNow Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age.
