Si ton fr\u00e8re p\u00e8che contre toi, reprends-le ; et s\u2019il se repent, pardonne-lui. Et s\u2019il p\u00e8che contre toi sept fois par jour, et que sept fois par jour il revienne \u00e0 toi, disant : \u2018 Je me repens \u2019, tu lui pardonneras. \u201d <br \/><strong>Luc 17:3-4<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Il est impossible de traverser la vie sans \u00eatre offens\u00e9 ou bless\u00e9 par autrui. Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a dit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Il est impossible qu\u2019il n\u2019y ait pas de scandales\u00a0; mais malheur \u00e0 celui par qui ils arrivent\u00a0!\u00a0\u201d (Lc 17,1). Plus t\u00f4t dans l\u2019\u00c9vangile de Luc, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a compar\u00e9 le pardon \u00e0 l\u2019annulation d\u2019une dette (Lc 7,36-47).<\/p><p>Alors qu&#039;ils d\u00eenaient chez Simon le pharisien, une femme p\u00e9cheresse entra et lava les pieds de notre Seigneur de ses larmes, les essuya de ses cheveux et les oignit d&#039;huile parfum\u00e9e. Son affection pour le Seigneur et sa conscience de sa propre condition transparaissent clairement dans ce passage. Mais il n&#039;en fut pas de m\u00eame pour le pharisien\u00a0; Simon jugea \u00e0 la fois le Seigneur J\u00e9sus et cette femme.<\/p><p>Connaissant les pens\u00e9es et les sentiments de Simon, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus lui dit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Un cr\u00e9ancier avait deux d\u00e9biteurs. L\u2019un devait cinq cents deniers, et l\u2019autre cinquante. N\u2019ayant rien pour le rembourser, il leur remit \u00e0 tous deux leur dette. Lequel des deux l\u2019aimera le plus\u00a0?\u00a0\u201d Simon r\u00e9pondit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Je suppose que c\u2019est celui \u00e0 qui il a remis le plus.\u00a0\u201d J\u00e9sus lui dit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Tu as bien jug\u00e9.\u00a0\u201d<\/p><p>Alors notre Seigneur a soulign\u00e9 ce qu&#039;elle avait fait pour lui et ce que Simon, l&#039;h\u00f4te, avait omis de faire. Il a ensuite d\u00e9clar\u00e9\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0C&#039;est pourquoi je vous le dis, ses nombreux p\u00e9ch\u00e9s lui sont pardonn\u00e9s, car elle a beaucoup aim\u00e9. Mais celui \u00e0 qui on pardonne peu aime peu.\u00a0\u201d<\/p><p>La le\u00e7on semble claire\u00a0: le p\u00e9ch\u00e9 engendre toujours une dette qui doit \u00eatre pardonn\u00e9e. Plus nous prenons conscience de l\u2019\u00e9tendue du pardon dont nous avons b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9, plus grand sera notre amour pour Celui qui efface cette dette. Autre enseignement de cette histoire\u00a0: lorsque cette femme, pardonn\u00e9e de ses p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, quitta sa maison ce jour-l\u00e0, le parfum de l\u2019huile essentielle qu\u2019elle avait utilis\u00e9e l\u2019accompagna dans ses cheveux. On pourrait dire que le parfum du pardon la suivait\u00a0!<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Le parfum de notre pardon devrait nous accompagner aussi lorsque nous rencontrons ceux qui p\u00e8chent contre nous. Les offenses sont in\u00e9vitables, mais le Seigneur nous exhorte \u00e0 \u201c\u00a0prendre garde \u00e0 nous-m\u00eames\u00a0\u201d et \u00e0 pardonner.
