Cela provient d\u2019Exode 17:15, o\u00f9 nous voyons Mo\u00efse donner ce nom \u00e0 l\u2019autel apr\u00e8s que le Seigneur leur eut donn\u00e9 la victoire sur les Amal\u00e9cites.<\/p><p>Amalek fut le premier ennemi qu&#039;Isra\u00ebl dut affronter dans le d\u00e9sert. Il symbolise la nature humaine. Amalek repr\u00e9sentait un d\u00e9fi pour le peuple de Dieu, tout comme la nature humaine est un d\u00e9fi que les croyants doivent relever. La victoire fut acquise pour Isra\u00ebl lorsque Mo\u00efse leva les mains. Nous voyons ici une pr\u00e9figuration de l&#039;intercession du Seigneur J\u00e9sus au ciel en notre faveur.\u00a0<\/p><p>Dans Philippiens 1, nous trouvons le t\u00e9moignage de Paul\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Car pour moi, vivre, c\u2019est le Christ, et mourir est un gain\u00a0\u201d (Phil. 1.21). Puis, aux versets 27 \u00e0 30, nous d\u00e9couvrons sept mani\u00e8res concr\u00e8tes pour le croyant de \u201c\u00a0vivre en Christ\u00a0\u201d durant sa vie terrestre. Il nous est demand\u00e9 d\u2019avoir une conduite digne de l\u2019\u00c9vangile\u00a0; de demeurer fermes\u00a0; de lutter ensemble avec les autres croyants\u00a0; de ne pas nous laisser intimider par nos adversaires\u00a0; d\u2019\u00eatre conscients de la gr\u00e2ce de Dieu\u00a0; d\u2019\u00eatre pr\u00eats \u00e0 souffrir\u00a0; et de nous engager dans le combat.<\/p><p>Au c\u0153ur m\u00eame de ces exhortations pratiques, nous d\u00e9couvrons que Dieu est la source de notre salut. Paul affirme que leur salut vient \u201c de Dieu \u201d (v. 28). C\u2019est Lui qui nous donne la force et la capacit\u00e9 de mettre en pratique ce qui t\u00e9moigne de la pr\u00e9sence du Christ en nous. Nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 tenir bon, \u00e0 lutter, \u00e0 souffrir et \u00e0 nous engager dans le combat, mais nous ne le faisons pas par nos propres forces. Celui sous la banni\u00e8re duquel nous nous tenons est Celui qui nous fournit ce dont nous avons besoin pour la bataille.<\/p><p>La vie chr\u00e9tienne n&#039;est pas sans conflits. Dans ce monde, nous conna\u00eetrons des tribulations. Il y a des adversaires pour le croyant et des ennemis de la croix du Christ. Mais dans tout conflit, Dieu se r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00eatre notre J\u00e9hovah Nissi, notre Banni\u00e8re. La s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 de notre esprit nous permet de trouver la joie au c\u0153ur de l&#039;\u00e9preuve.<\/p><p>Ce premier nom de Dieu, que l&#039;on retrouve dans l&#039;\u00e9p\u00eetre aux Philippiens, nous parle de la protection divine. J\u00e9hovah Nissi est notre \u00e9tendard dans le combat.<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>De m\u00eame que la victoire d\u2019Isra\u00ebl sur Amalek est venue du Seigneur, notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 rester fermes et \u00e0 \u201c vivre le Christ \u201d au milieu de l\u2019opposition vient de
