Il est comme un arbre plant\u00e9 pr\u00e8s des eaux, qui \u00e9tend ses racines vers le fleuve ; il ne craint point la chaleur quand vient, et son feuillage reste vert ; dans l\u2019ann\u00e9e de la s\u00e9cheresse, il n\u2019est point inquiet, et il ne cesse de porter du fruit. \u201d<br \/><strong>J\u00e9r\u00e9mie 17:7-8<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>L&#039;une des cl\u00e9s pour se lib\u00e9rer des cha\u00eenes de l&#039;inqui\u00e9tude, de l&#039;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et de la peur est de faire confiance au Seigneur dans tous les aspects de notre vie et pour tout ce qui s&#039;y passe. Il est \u00e9tonnant que nous puissions lui faire confiance pour notre besoin le plus important, le salut, et pourtant, pour beaucoup d&#039;entre nous, il est difficile de lui faire confiance dans d&#039;autres domaines de la vie.<\/p><p>Que signifie avoir confiance en l&#039;\u00c9ternel\u00a0? J\u00e9r\u00e9mie l&#039;associe \u00e0 notre esp\u00e9rance et la compare \u00e0 un arbre plant\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de l&#039;eau. Ses racines s&#039;enfoncent profond\u00e9ment et s&#039;\u00e9tendent. Cet arbre b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&#039;un approvisionnement constant et continu, ce qui lui permet de ne pas craindre la s\u00e9cheresse. Un arbre arros\u00e9 n&#039;a pas \u00e0 s&#039;inqui\u00e9ter ni \u00e0 s&#039;angoisser en temps de s\u00e9cheresse, et il continue de porter du fruit.<\/p><p>Comment pouvons-nous, vous et moi, d\u00e9velopper une telle confiance que nous soyons semblables \u00e0 cet arbre dont parle J\u00e9r\u00e9mie\u00a0? J\u2019aimerais partager avec vous un acronyme pour le mot CONFIANCE que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert il y a quelque temps\u00a0:<\/p><p><strong>T \u2014 Prenez Dieu au mot.<\/strong><br \/>\u201c Dieu n\u2019est point un homme pour mentir, ni un fils d\u2019homme pour se repentir. Ce qu\u2019il a dit, ne le fera-t-il pas ? Ce qu\u2019il a promis, ne l\u2019accomplira-t-il pas ? \u201d (Nombres 23:19).<\/p><p><strong>R \u2014 Repose en Sa pr\u00e9sence.<\/strong><br \/>Le mot h\u00e9breu pour repos est <em>nuach<\/em>, ce qui signifie \u201c se reposer, \u00eatre tranquille \u201d. Le Psaume 91:1 nous apprend : \u201c Celui qui demeure sous l\u2019abri du Tr\u00e8s-Haut repose \u00e0 l\u2019ombre du Tout-Puissant. \u201d<\/p><p><strong>U \u2014 Comprenez que le r\u00e9sultat ne d\u00e9pend pas de nous.<\/strong><br \/>\u201c Confie-toi en l\u2019\u00c9ternel de tout ton c\u0153ur, et ne t\u2019appuie pas sur ta propre intelligence ; reconnais-le dans toutes tes voies, et il aplanira tes sentiers \u201d (Prov. 3:5-6).<\/p><p><strong>S \u2014 Acceptez que Dieu est souverain.<\/strong><br \/>Il d\u00e9tient le contr\u00f4le absolu et poss\u00e8de une autorit\u00e9 et un pouvoir absolus : \u201c Ah, Seigneur Dieu ! Voici, tu as fait les cieux et la terre par ta grande puissance et ton bras \u00e9tendu. Rien n\u2019est trop difficile pour toi \u201d (J\u00e9r. 32:17).<\/p><p><strong>T \u2014 Tournez-vous vers le pass\u00e9 et nourrissez-vous de sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9<\/strong> (Ps. 37:3).<br \/>Sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 pass\u00e9e est rest\u00e9e intacte car il est rest\u00e9 immuable !
