Et quel est ce but\u00a0? \u201c\u00a0\u2026afin que nous obtenions mis\u00e9ricorde et trouvions gr\u00e2ce pour \u00eatre secourus dans nos besoins.\u00a0\u201d<\/p><p>La mis\u00e9ricorde est l&#039;un de nos besoins fondamentaux en raison de nos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s et de nos manquements. Notre P\u00e8re c\u00e9leste est \u201c le P\u00e8re des mis\u00e9ricordes \u201d (2 Corinthiens 1:3), et il est \u201c riche en mis\u00e9ricorde \u201d (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 2:4). L&#039;attitude de Dieu envers ses enfants dans la d\u00e9tresse est empreinte de mis\u00e9ricorde, de piti\u00e9 et de compassion. Dans les moments difficiles, nous appr\u00e9cions tous quelqu&#039;un qui peut faire preuve d&#039;empathie et de compassion. Notre Dieu d&#039;amour, qui a fait preuve de mis\u00e9ricorde en nous sauvant (Tite 3:5), serait-il moins mis\u00e9ricordieux maintenant que nous sommes ses enfants ? Certainement pas !<\/p><p>Allons donc \u00e0 lui avec confiance et faisons-lui part de tous nos besoins.<\/p><p>Il arrive que \u201c nous ne sachions pas ce qu\u2019il convient de demander dans nos pri\u00e8res \u201d (Romains 8.26). Il se peut que vous ne connaissiez pas vos besoins. Mais notre Seigneur nous assure que \u201c votre P\u00e8re sait ce dont vous avez besoin avant m\u00eame que vous le lui demandiez \u201d (Matthieu 6.8). Voir aussi Matthieu 6.32.<\/p><p>Un autre but de notre venue au tr\u00f4ne de la gr\u00e2ce est de \u201c trouver la gr\u00e2ce pour nous secourir \u201d. La mis\u00e9ricorde est pour les \u00e9checs du pass\u00e9, et la gr\u00e2ce est pour le besoin du moment pr\u00e9sent.<\/p><p>L\u2019ap\u00f4tre Paul se pr\u00e9senta devant le tr\u00f4ne de la gr\u00e2ce alors qu\u2019il souffrait d\u2019une \u00e9charde dans la chair. \u00c0 trois reprises, il demanda \u00e0 Dieu de le soulager de cette infirmit\u00e9. Mais ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas ce dont il avait besoin. S\u2019il souffrait \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0, il \u00e9tait tout \u00e0 fait naturel qu\u2019il prie pour \u00eatre soulag\u00e9 de sa douleur. Mais dans ce moment de d\u00e9tresse, il re\u00e7ut du Seigneur cette parole rassurante\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Ma gr\u00e2ce te suffit\u00a0\u201d (2 Corinthiens 12,9).<\/p><p>Le Seigneur n&#039;a pas gu\u00e9ri Paul, ni soulag\u00e9 sa souffrance \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0. Mais c&#039;est l\u00e0, devant le tr\u00f4ne de la gr\u00e2ce, qu&#039;il a d\u00e9couvert la ressource infinie et in\u00e9puisable de la gr\u00e2ce divine. L\u00e0, il a trouv\u00e9 la gr\u00e2ce pour une aide opportune.
