La suite de l&#039;histoire est connue gr\u00e2ce au livre des Actes, chapitre 27. La temp\u00eate fit rage, le navire et sa cargaison p\u00e9rirent, et par la gr\u00e2ce de Dieu, Paul et ses compagnons furent sauv\u00e9s.<\/p><p>Le centurion devait choisir entre hiverner \u00e0 Fair Havens ou prendre la mer et tenter de rejoindre le port de Phoenix. Nous pouvons tirer de nombreux enseignements des erreurs du centurion. Sa mani\u00e8re de prendre cette d\u00e9cision illustre parfaitement comment ne pas pr\u00e9tendre conna\u00eetre la volont\u00e9 divine.<\/p><p><em><strong>Il s&#039;impatienta<\/strong><\/em> (Actes 27:7-9, 12). Il ne voulait pas rester dans le port inconfortable de Fair Havens, car il \u00e9tait trop expos\u00e9 aux temp\u00eates hivernales. Phoenix offrait un port plus abrit\u00e9. Il voulait reprendre la mer. L&#039;impatience est un signe d&#039;immaturit\u00e9 et d&#039;incr\u00e9dulit\u00e9. Le proph\u00e8te Isa\u00efe nous le rappelle\u00a0:, <em>\u201cQue celui qui croit ne se h\u00e2te pas.\u201d<\/em> (\u00c9sa\u00efe 28:16).<\/p><p><em><strong>Il a \u00e9cout\u00e9 les \u201c conseils d\u2019experts \u201d.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> de l&#039;avis du pilote et du capitaine du navire plut\u00f4t que de la Parole de Dieu (Actes 27:10-11). Peu importe ce que peuvent dire les \u201c experts \u201d, fiez-vous \u00e0 la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de la Parole de Dieu.<\/p><p><em><strong>Il a vot\u00e9<\/strong><\/em> (Actes 27:12). La majorit\u00e9 a vot\u00e9 pour le d\u00e9part, et la majorit\u00e9 s&#039;est tromp\u00e9e ! N&#039;oubliez pas que la majorit\u00e9 a emp\u00each\u00e9 Isra\u00ebl d&#039;entrer en Terre promise, et la majorit\u00e9 a vot\u00e9 pour la crucifixion du Christ ! Ob\u00e9issez \u00e0 la Parole de Dieu, m\u00eame si le monde entier est contre vous.<\/p><p><em><strong>Il marchait selon sa vue, et non selon sa foi.<\/strong><\/em> (Actes 27:13). \u201c Le vent du sud soufflait doucement \u201d, signalant \u00e0 celui-ci, du moins, qu&#039;il devait se mettre en route. M\u00e9fiez-vous des \u201c occasions en or \u201d qui semblent contredire les instructions de Dieu. Les vents du sud se transforment souvent en temp\u00eates.<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Parfois, nous nous retrouvons pris dans la temp\u00eate pour les m\u00eames raisons.
