Il est comme un arbre plant\u00e9 pr\u00e8s des eaux, qui \u00e9tend ses racines vers le fleuve\u00a0; il ne craint rien quand vient la chaleur, et son feuillage reste vert\u00a0; dans l\u2019ann\u00e9e de la s\u00e9cheresse, il n\u2019est point inquiet, et il ne cesse de porter du fruit.<br \/>J\u00e9r\u00e9mie 17:7-8<\/em><\/p><p class=\"p1\">L&#039;une des cl\u00e9s pour se lib\u00e9rer des cha\u00eenes de l&#039;inqui\u00e9tude, de l&#039;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et de la peur est de faire confiance au Seigneur dans tous les aspects de notre vie et pour tout ce qu&#039;elle comporte. Il est \u00e9tonnant que nous puissions lui faire confiance pour notre besoin le plus important, le salut, et pourtant, pour beaucoup d&#039;entre nous, il est difficile de lui faire confiance dans d&#039;autres domaines. Que signifie faire confiance au Seigneur\u00a0? J\u00e9r\u00e9mie l&#039;associe \u00e0 notre esp\u00e9rance et la compare \u00e0 un arbre plant\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de l&#039;eau. Ses racines s&#039;enfoncent profond\u00e9ment et s&#039;\u00e9tendent. L&#039;arbre b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&#039;un approvisionnement constant et continu\u00a0; il ne craint pas la chaleur. Un arbre arros\u00e9 n&#039;a pas \u00e0 s&#039;inqui\u00e9ter ni \u00e0 \u00eatre anxieux en temps de s\u00e9cheresse et continue de porter du fruit.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Comment pouvons-nous, vous et moi, d\u00e9velopper une telle confiance que nous soyons comme cet arbre dont parle J\u00e9r\u00e9mie\u00a0? J\u2019aimerais partager avec vous un anachronisme anonyme pour le mot \u00ab\u00a0confiance\u00a0\u00bb que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert il y a quelque temps\u00a0:<\/p><p class=\"p2\">T-Prenez Dieu au mot. \u201c Dieu n\u2019est point un homme pour mentir, ni un fils d\u2019homme pour se repentir. Ce qu\u2019il a dit, ne le fera-t-il pas ? Ce qu\u2019il a promis, ne l\u2019accomplira-t-il pas ? \u201d (Nombres 23:19)<\/p><p class=\"p2\">R-Repose-toi en Sa pr\u00e9sence. Le mot h\u00e9breu pour repos est nuach, qui signifie \u201c se reposer, \u00eatre tranquille \u201d. Le Psaume 91:1 nous apprend : \u201c Celui qui demeure sous l\u2019abri du Tr\u00e8s-Haut repose \u00e0 l\u2019ombre du Tout-Puissant. \u201d<\/p><p class=\"p2\">Comprenez que le r\u00e9sultat ne d\u00e9pend pas de nous. \u201c Confie-toi en l\u2019\u00c9ternel de tout ton c\u0153ur, et ne t\u2019appuie pas sur ta propre intelligence ; reconnais-le dans toutes tes voies, et il aplanira tes sentiers \u201d (Proverbes 3:5-6).<\/p><p class=\"p2\">Acceptez que Dieu est souverain. Il a le contr\u00f4le absolu, l&#039;autorit\u00e9 et la puissance absolues : \u201c Ah ! Seigneur Dieu ! Vois, tu as fait les cieux et la terre par ta grande puissance et ton bras \u00e9tendu. Rien n&#039;est trop difficile pour toi \u201d (J\u00e9r. 32:17).<\/p><p class=\"p2\">Tournez-vous vers le pass\u00e9 et nourrissez-vous de sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 (Ps. 37:3). Sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 pass\u00e9e est rest\u00e9e intacte, car il est immuable ! Grande est sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 (Lam. 3:23) !<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/><em>Faire confiance au quotidien ; faire confiance m\u00eame dans la temp\u00eate ;<\/em><br \/><em>M\u00eame quand ma foi est faible, faire confiance \u00e0 J\u00e9sus, c&#039;est tout.<\/em><br \/><em>\u2013 Edgar
