Mais ces versets sont remarquables non seulement par leur longueur, mais aussi parce qu&#039;ils r\u00e9v\u00e8lent sept gloires du Seigneur J\u00e9sus, Fils \u00e9ternel de Dieu. Les quatre premi\u00e8res \u00e9voquent la gloire de sa grandeur, tandis que les trois suivantes r\u00e9v\u00e8lent la gloire de sa gr\u00e2ce.<\/p><p>En tant que Fils \u00e9ternel de Dieu, il est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en premier lieu comme l&#039;H\u00e9ritier de toutes choses. L&#039;\u00c9criture le d\u00e9signe comme le Fils d&#039;Abraham, issu de la lign\u00e9e d&#039;Abraham par son humanit\u00e9. \u00c0 ce titre, il est l&#039;h\u00e9ritier de la terre. On le d\u00e9signe \u00e9galement comme le Fils de David. Ainsi, il est l&#039;h\u00e9ritier du tr\u00f4ne. En tant que Fils de l&#039;homme, notre Seigneur est l&#039;h\u00e9ritier de ce monde, mais en tant que Fils de Dieu, il est l&#039;H\u00e9ritier de toutes choses.<\/p><p>La seconde gloire mentionn\u00e9e ici est celle du Cr\u00e9ateur. Nous regardons vers l&#039;avenir et voyons qu&#039;il est l&#039;H\u00e9ritier de toutes choses, mais nous regardons aussi vers le pass\u00e9 et apprenons qu&#039;il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 toutes choses (Jean 1:3\u00a0; Colossiens 1:15-17).<\/p><p>Notre Seigneur b\u00e9ni est aussi le reflet de la gloire de Dieu. Cette gloire s&#039;\u00e9tend jusqu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9ternit\u00e9, et pourtant, en tant qu&#039;homme, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus a parfaitement manifest\u00e9 la gloire de Dieu. Le mot \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9tant\u00a0\u00bb dans notre verset signifie qu&#039;il \u00e9tait continuellement ce qu&#039;il avait toujours \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p><p>Il est aussi l&#039;image parfaite de sa personne, c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire la repr\u00e9sentation exacte de Dieu. Il nous a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 Dieu (Jean 1:18) \u2013 non pas seulement ses attributs, mais Dieu lui-m\u00eame.<\/p><p>Il est non seulement le Cr\u00e9ateur du monde, mais aussi son Soutien, qui soutient toutes choses par la parole de sa puissance.<\/p><p>Ce glorieux \u00catre, qui est tout cela, est aussi notre R\u00e9dempteur, car \u201c apr\u00e8s avoir accompli par lui-m\u00eame la purification de nos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s \u201d, il a accompli ce que nul autre n\u2019aurait pu faire.<\/p><p>En passant en revue ces six gloires, il n&#039;est pas \u00e9tonnant que la septi\u00e8me soit son exaltation : il s&#039;est assis \u00e0 la droite de la Majest\u00e9 divine dans les lieux tr\u00e8s hauts.<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Voici le message de Dieu \u00e0 l&#039;humanit\u00e9.
