C&#039;est pourquoi il nous exhorte \u00e0 deux reprises \u00e0 la fin du livre\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Souvenez-vous de votre Cr\u00e9ateur\u00a0\u201d (12,1.6).<\/p><p>On dit souvent que \u201c le temps n&#039;attend personne \u201d. D&#039;autres affirment que \u201c le temps passe \u201d. La seule certitude, en mati\u00e8re de temps, c&#039;est le pr\u00e9sent.<\/p><p>Au chapitre trois de l&#039;Eccl\u00e9siaste, Salomon s&#039;\u00e9tend longuement sur la question du temps. Il \u00e9num\u00e8re quatorze paires d&#039;oppos\u00e9s, chacune pr\u00e9sentant un aspect positif et un aspect n\u00e9gatif\u00a0:<\/p><p>\u201c Un temps pour na\u00eetre, et un temps pour mourir ;<br \/>Il y a un temps pour planter, et un temps pour r\u00e9colter ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 plant\u00e9 ;<br \/>Un temps pour tuer, et un temps pour gu\u00e9rir ;<br \/>Un temps pour d\u00e9molir, et un temps pour construire ;<br \/>Un temps pour pleurer, et un temps pour rire ;<br \/>Un temps pour pleurer, et un temps pour danser ;<br \/>Un temps pour jeter des pierres, et un temps pour en ramasser ;<br \/>Un temps pour s&#039;embrasser, et un temps pour s&#039;abstenir d&#039;embrasser ;<br \/>Un temps pour gagner, et un temps pour perdre ;<br \/>Un temps pour garder, et un temps pour jeter ;<br \/>Un temps pour d\u00e9chirer, et un temps pour coudre ;<br \/>Un temps pour se taire, et un temps pour parler ;<br \/>Un temps pour aimer, et un temps pour ha\u00efr ;<br \/>\u201d Un temps de guerre, et un temps de paix \u00bb (Eccl. 3:2\u20138).<\/p><p>Dans cette section, Salomon \u00e9voque vingt-huit fois la notion de temps, soulignant que Dieu nous a allou\u00e9 \u00e0 chacun un certain laps de temps et que nous sommes responsables de l&#039;utiliser avec sagesse.<\/p><p>L\u2019ap\u00f4tre Paul nous rappelle de \u201c racheter le temps, car les jours sont mauvais \u201d (\u00c9ph. 5:16), et que nous devons \u201c marcher avec sagesse envers ceux qui sont dehors, en rachetant le temps \u201d (Col. 4:5).<\/p><p>Dans l&#039;\u00e9p\u00eetre aux Romains, Paul nous exhorte encore :<\/p><p>\u201c Et faites cela, sachant quel est le temps\u00a0: il est grand temps de sortir de votre sommeil, car maintenant le salut est plus proche de nous qu\u2019au moment de notre conversion. La nuit est avanc\u00e9e, le jour approche. Rejetons donc les \u0153uvres des t\u00e9n\u00e8bres et rev\u00eatons les armes de la lumi\u00e8re. Conduisons-nous honn\u00eatement, comme en plein jour, sans exc\u00e8s de table ni ivrognerie, sans d\u00e9bauche ni convoitise, sans querelles ni envie. Mais rev\u00eatez-vous du Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ et ne vous pr\u00e9occupez pas de satisfaire les d\u00e9sirs de votre nature charnelle. \u201d (Romains 13:11-14).<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Le temps qui nous est imparti touche \u00e0 sa fin. La question que chacun de nous doit se poser est la suivante\u00a0: comment utilisons-nous le temps qui nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9\u00a0?
