La mondanit\u00e9 est l&#039;ennemie de la pi\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p><p>Nous savons que le chr\u00e9tien a trois ennemis principaux\u00a0: le monde, la chair et le diable. Il a souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9 que la chair lutte contre l\u2019Esprit (Galates 5.17), tandis que le diable s\u2019oppose directement au Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ et que le syst\u00e8me du monde s\u2019oppose \u00e0 la justice de Dieu.<\/p><p>Jacques nous rappelle : \u201c Ne savez-vous pas que l\u2019amiti\u00e9 pour le monde est inimiti\u00e9 contre Dieu ? Celui donc qui veut \u00eatre ami du monde se rend ennemi de Dieu \u201d (Jacques 4.4). L\u2019ap\u00f4tre Jean, \u00e2g\u00e9, ajoute : \u201c N\u2019aimez pas le monde ni ce qui est dans le monde. Si quelqu\u2019un aime le monde, l\u2019amour du P\u00e8re n\u2019est pas en lui. Car tout ce qui est dans le monde \u2013 la convoitise de la chair, la convoitise des yeux et l\u2019orgueil de la vie \u2013 ne vient pas du P\u00e8re, mais du monde. Et le monde passe, et sa convoitise aussi ; mais celui qui fait la volont\u00e9 de Dieu demeure \u00e9ternellement. \u201d (1 Jean 2.15-17)<\/p><p>Il est important de comprendre que la mondanit\u00e9 ne se manifeste pas tant par nos activit\u00e9s \u2013 ce que nous faisons et o\u00f9 nous le faisons \u2013 que par nos attitudes. Un chr\u00e9tien peut se tenir \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9cart des divertissements douteux et des lieux suspects tout en aimant le monde. La mondanit\u00e9 est avant tout une affaire de c\u0153ur qui influence nos affections et nos ambitions. Elle influence notre c\u0153ur dans notre r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l&#039;amour de Dieu, et nos actions dans notre ob\u00e9issance \u00e0 sa volont\u00e9.<\/p><p>Nous devons nous souvenir que le Seigneur J\u00e9sus \u201c s\u2019est donn\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame pour nos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, afin de nous d\u00e9livrer du pr\u00e9sent si\u00e8cle mauvais, selon la volont\u00e9 de notre Dieu et P\u00e8re \u201d (Gal. 1:4).<\/p><p>Dans notre qu\u00eate de pi\u00e9t\u00e9, il est \u00e9galement utile de se rappeler que ce monde est actuellement \u2013 mais seulement temporairement \u2013 sous le joug du Malin (\u00c9ph\u00e9siens 2.2\u00a0; 6.12\u00a0; Jean 12.31\u00a0; 14.30\u00a0; 16.11). En tant que croyants en Christ, \u201c\u00a0le monde est crucifi\u00e9 pour moi, et moi pour le monde\u00a0\u201d (Galates 6.14), et nous devons \u201c\u00a0nous garder purs du monde\u00a0\u201d (Jacques 1.27).<\/p><p>La mondanit\u00e9 s\u2019insinue progressivement dans nos vies : d\u2019abord par l\u2019amiti\u00e9 avec le monde (Jacques 4:4), puis en \u00e9tant marqu\u00e9s par lui (Jacques 1:27), et enfin en se conformant \u00e0 lui (Romains 12:1\u20132).<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>La mondanit\u00e9 est l&#039;ennemie de la pi\u00e9t\u00e9.
