La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 d'un chr\u00e9tien fructueux<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201c Ceux qui appartiennent \u00e0 Christ ont crucifi\u00e9 la chair avec ses passions et ses d\u00e9sirs. Si nous vivons par l\u2019Esprit, marchons aussi selon l\u2019Esprit. \u201d
Galates 5:24-25<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

C'est une affirmation qui interpelle. Elle \u00e9nonce une position, mais elle nous invite aussi \u00e0 la mettre en pratique dans notre vie quotidienne, \u00e0 la vivre pleinement. C'est une v\u00e9rit\u00e9 fondamentale de la Parole de Dieu qu'il est essentiel de comprendre.<\/p>

Dans presque tous les passages du Nouveau Testament o\u00f9 la crucifixion est mentionn\u00e9e, elle d\u00e9signe la mort du Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ sur la croix. Ces quatre exceptions sont toutefois essentielles pour comprendre comment le fruit de l'Esprit se manifeste dans nos vies.<\/p>

Premi\u00e8rement, Romains 6:6 nous dit\u00a0: \u201c Sachant cela, que notre vieil homme a \u00e9t\u00e9 crucifi\u00e9 avec lui, afin que le corps du p\u00e9ch\u00e9 soit r\u00e9duit \u00e0 l\u2019impuissance, pour que nous ne soyons plus esclaves du p\u00e9ch\u00e9. \u201d <\/span>Telle est la position de tout v\u00e9ritable croyant : nous sommes consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme morts avec le Christ.<\/p>

Puis, dans Galates 2:20, nous lisons : \u201c J\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 crucifi\u00e9 avec Christ ; ce n\u2019est plus moi qui vis, mais Christ vit en moi ; et la vie que je vis maintenant dans la chair, je la vis dans la foi au Fils de Dieu, qui m\u2019a aim\u00e9 et qui s\u2019est livr\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame pour moi. \u201d <\/span>Cette d\u00e9claration est faite en lien avec la loi, comme Paul le dit au verset 19\u00a0: \u201c Car par la loi je suis mort \u00e0 la loi, afin de vivre pour Dieu. \u201d<\/span><\/p>

Dans Galates 6:14, Paul d\u00e9clare en outre\u00a0: \u201c Mais loin de moi la pens\u00e9e de me glorifier, sinon de la croix de notre Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ, par laquelle le monde est crucifi\u00e9 pour moi, et moi pour le monde. \u201d<\/span><\/p>

Ces trois passages, o\u00f9 le croyant est vu comme crucifi\u00e9, parlent de notre mort en Christ : mort au vieil homme, mort \u00e0 la loi, mort au monde et, dans notre verset actuel, mort \u00e0 la chair.<\/p>

Rien ne devrait entraver la vie de celui qui s'identifie \u00e0 la mort, \u00e0 l'ensevelissement et \u00e0 la r\u00e9surrection du Christ. Nous sommes d\u00e9sormais libres de servir le Seigneur. L'Esprit de Dieu a maintenant la libert\u00e9 de produire en nous \u2013 et par nous \u2013 son fruit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0l'amour, la joie, la paix, la patience, la bont\u00e9, la bienveillance, la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9, la douceur et la ma\u00eetrise de soi. Contre de telles choses, il n'y a pas de loi.\u00a0\u201d<\/p>

C\u2019est alors que nous sommes capables de vivre par l\u2019Esprit, sous son contr\u00f4le, comme ceux qui sont remplis de l\u2019Esprit (\u00c9ph. 5:18), sans l\u2019attrister ni l\u2019\u00e9teindre (\u00c9ph. 4:30 ; 1 Thess. 5:19), mais en marchant dans l\u2019Esprit.<\/p>

Paul r\u00e9unit ces deux id\u00e9es de marche et de port de fruits lorsqu'il dit : \u201c Afin que vous marchiez d\u2019une mani\u00e8re digne du Seigneur, lui plaisant pleinement, portant du fruit en toute bonne \u0153uvre et croissant dans la connaissance de Dieu \u201d (Col. 1:10).<\/span><\/p>
