Fid\u00e8le et fructueux<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201c Mais le fruit de l\u2019Esprit, c\u2019est l\u2019amour, la joie, la paix, la patience, la bont\u00e9, la bienveillance, la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9, la douceur, la ma\u00eetrise de soi. Contre de telles choses, il n\u2019y a pas de loi. \u201d
Galates 5:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Alors que bont\u00e9<\/em> est peut-\u00eatre un mot surutilis\u00e9, fid\u00e9lit\u00e9<\/em> La fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 est devenue rare. Il fut un temps o\u00f9 l'on pouvait dire que les entreprises \u00e9taient fid\u00e8les \u00e0 leurs employ\u00e9s et les employ\u00e9s \u00e0 leurs employeurs. Malheureusement, ce n'est plus souvent le cas aujourd'hui. La fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 \u00e9tait jadis c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e lorsque les couples atteignaient leurs vingt-cinq ou cinquanti\u00e8mes anniversaires de mariage, mais m\u00eame ces \u00e9tapes importantes sont devenues de plus en plus rares.<\/p>

Quand on pense \u00e0 la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9, des mots comme loyaut\u00e9<\/em> et fiabilit\u00e9<\/em> me viennent \u00e0 l'esprit. Le proph\u00e8te J\u00e9r\u00e9mie<\/span><\/span> d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u201c C\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mis\u00e9ricorde de l\u2019\u00c9ternel que nous ne sommes pas an\u00e9antis, car ses compassions ne sont pas \u00e9puis\u00e9es ; elles se renouvellent chaque matin. Grande est ta fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 ! \u201d (Lam. 3:22\u201323).<\/span><\/p>

Pierre l'ap\u00f4tre<\/span><\/span> Il est fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 Dieu comme \u00e0 un \u201c Cr\u00e9ateur fid\u00e8le \u201d (1 Pierre 4.19). Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus est appel\u00e9 \u201c le T\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le \u201d, soulignant ainsi sa parfaite humanit\u00e9 (Apocalypse 1.4-5). Il est \u00e9galement appel\u00e9 \u201c le T\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le et v\u00e9ritable \u201d, par opposition \u00e0 une \u00c9glise d\u00e9faillante (Apocalypse 3.14), et de nouveau \u201c fid\u00e8le et v\u00e9ritable \u201d car il sera r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 dans un jour nouveau (Apocalypse 19.11).<\/p>

La fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 de notre Dieu est manifeste tout au long du Nouveau Testament (1 Corinthiens 1.8-9 ; 10.13 ; 1 Thessaloniciens 5.24 ; 1 Jean 1.9). La fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 fait partie int\u00e9grante du caract\u00e8re de Dieu le P\u00e8re et de Dieu le Fils, et ils d\u00e9sirent la voir se manifester dans nos vies par la puissance du Saint-Esprit.<\/p>

Nous sommes exhort\u00e9s \u00e0 demeurer fid\u00e8les en temps de pers\u00e9cution (Apocalypse 2.10), fid\u00e8les \u00e0 la puret\u00e9 doctrinale (3 Jean 3-5\u00a0; Galates 1.9\u00a0; 2 Timoth\u00e9e 2.23-24) et fid\u00e8les envers autrui (3 Jean 5\u00a0; 2 Timoth\u00e9e 2.2). On lit en 1 Corinthiens 4.2 qu\u201c\u201d\u00a0on demande aux intendants qu\u2019ils soient fid\u00e8les\u00a0\u00bb. Puisque nous sommes intendants de tout ce qui nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9, cela s\u2019applique \u00e0 chacun de nous.<\/p>

Il est \u00e9vident, de par la nature d\u00e9chue de l'humanit\u00e9, que ni vous ni moi ne pouvons \u00eatre fid\u00e8les \u00e0 Dieu par nos propres forces. Cela n'est possible que par la puissance du Saint-Esprit. La fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 est un aspect des fruits qu'il produit en nous. Puissions-nous d\u00e9sirer davantage le laisser agir en nous, afin qu'il refl\u00e8te le caract\u00e8re du Christ dans nos vies.<\/p>

Il existe pourtant un verset merveilleusement encourageant auquel nous pouvons nous raccrocher, qui souligne la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 de Dieu\u00a0: \u201c Si nous sommes infid\u00e8les, il demeure fid\u00e8le ; il ne peut se renier lui-m\u00eame \u201d (2 Timoth\u00e9e 2:13).<\/span><\/p>
