La sanctification par la position signifie que Dieu prend un p\u00e9cheur et fait de lui son enfant unique. Il met les croyants \u00e0 part comme son peuple \u00e9lu. L\u2019emploi du terme \u201c\u00a0sanctification\u00a0\u201d ici souligne l\u2019\u0153uvre unique du Saint-Esprit par laquelle nous ob\u00e9issons \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9vangile par la foi afin d\u2019\u00eatre purifi\u00e9s par le sang du Christ.<\/p><p>La saintet\u00e9 positionnelle d\u00e9signe notre statut particulier devant Dieu. Cet aspect de notre sanctification constitue v\u00e9ritablement le fondement de ce que l&#039;on appelle souvent la sanctification progressive ou pratique.<\/p><p>La sanctification a pour but de d\u00e9velopper en nous un caract\u00e8re semblable \u00e0 celui du Christ en nous amenant \u00e0 l&#039;ob\u00e9issance tout au long de notre vie. C&#039;est ce que Pierre entendait par \u201c\u00a0pour l&#039;ob\u00e9issance et l&#039;aspersion du sang de J\u00e9sus-Christ\u00a0\u201d. Cela nous ram\u00e8ne \u00e0 Exode 13.2 et 24.3-8, o\u00f9 l&#039;aspersion symbolise la cons\u00e9cration au service. L&#039;aspersion fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l&#039;utilisation du sang dans l&#039;Ancien Testament pour expier le p\u00e9ch\u00e9. Le but des sacrifices de l&#039;Ancien Testament n&#039;\u00e9tait pas seulement l&#039;effusion du sang, mais aussi son application.<\/p><p>La force de vivre une vie d&#039;ob\u00e9issance au Christ d\u00e9coule de la prise de conscience de l&#039;\u0153uvre que le Seigneur J\u00e9sus-Christ a d\u00e9j\u00e0 accomplie.<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>La force de vivre pour le
