Alors \u00c9liashib, le grand pr\u00eatre, se leva avec ses fr\u00e8res pr\u00eatres et construisit la Porte des Brebis\u00a0; ils la consacr\u00e8rent et y install\u00e8rent ses portes. Ils construisirent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la Tour des Cent, qu\u2019ils consacr\u00e8rent \u00e9galement, puis jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la Tour de Hananel. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019\u00c9liashib, les hommes de J\u00e9richo construisirent. Et \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019eux, Zaccur, fils d\u2019Imri, construisit.<\/em>
N\u00e9h\u00e9mie 3:1\u20132<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div>

Le chapitre 3 de N\u00e9h\u00e9mie est un chapitre foisonnant\u00a0; chacun participe \u00e0 la construction du mur. L\u2019expression \u201c\u00a0\u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de lui\u00a0\u201d et \u201c\u00a0apr\u00e8s lui\u00a0\u201d revient une trentaine de fois. Ils travaillent c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te, chacun apportant sa contribution \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9dification du mur. Il ne s\u2019agissait pas de professionnels du b\u00e2timent ou de la charpenterie. On y trouvait des gens de toutes professions\u00a0: parfumeurs (N\u00e9h\u00e9mie 3.8), orf\u00e8vres (vv. 8, 31), serviteurs du temple (v. 26), marchands (vv. 32) et pr\u00eatres. De nombreux chefs de diff\u00e9rents districts \u00e9taient \u00e9galement impliqu\u00e9s dans les travaux (vv. 9-14).<\/p>

Cela nous rappelle combien il est important de travailler ensemble pour la gloire de Dieu. Avoir quelqu'un \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s est une v\u00e9ritable b\u00e9n\u00e9diction. Mais au-del\u00e0 de cela, cela r\u00e9jouit le c\u0153ur de Dieu, qui dit : \u201c Voyez comme il est bon, comme il est agr\u00e9able pour des fr\u00e8res de demeurer ensemble dans l'unit\u00e9 ! \u201d (Ps. 133,1).<\/p>

Paul nous rappelle que le Christ, en tant que Chef de l\u2019\u00c9glise, a donn\u00e9 \u00e0 chacun de nous des dons \u201c pour le perfectionnement des saints en vue de l\u2019\u0153uvre du minist\u00e8re et de l\u2019\u00e9dification du corps du Christ, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que nous soyons tous parvenus \u00e0 l\u2019unit\u00e9 de la foi et de la connaissance du Fils de Dieu, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019homme fait, \u00e0 la mesure de la stature parfaite du Christ, afin que nous ne soyons plus des enfants, ballott\u00e9s et emport\u00e9s \u00e0 tout vent de doctrine \u201d (\u00c9ph. 4:12-16).<\/p>
