Il fit preuve d&#039;un grand \u00e9quilibre et ne c\u00e9da \u00e0 aucun exc\u00e8s. Josias dut faire face \u00e0 la division, \u00e0 la confusion et \u00e0 toutes sortes de maux. Mais durant ces jours sombres, ce fut la lumi\u00e8re de la Parole de Dieu qui ramena le renouveau dans le pays.<\/p><p>Le Livre de la Loi fut retrouv\u00e9 ; il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9glig\u00e9, oubli\u00e9 et perdu dans le temple. Certains le consid\u00e9raient peut-\u00eatre comme une relique ancienne et obsol\u00e8te ; c\u2019est peut-\u00eatre pour cela qu\u2019il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 mal plac\u00e9 dans la maison du Seigneur. Selon les commandements donn\u00e9s \u00e0 Josu\u00e9, ce livre ne devait jamais \u00eatre oubli\u00e9. Ils devaient l\u2019\u00e9tudier et s\u2019y soumettre (Josu\u00e9 1:7-9). Tout nouveau roi, \u201c lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019assi\u00e9ra sur le tr\u00f4ne de son royaume, [\u2026] se fera \u00e9crire une copie de cette loi dans un livre, d\u2019apr\u00e8s celui qui est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 aux pr\u00eatres, les L\u00e9vites \u201d (Deut\u00e9ronome 17:18). Mais cela avait \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9glig\u00e9 pendant un certain temps.<\/p><p>Nous vivons dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui, \u00e0 bien des \u00e9gards, a n\u00e9glig\u00e9 la Parole de Dieu. La Bible est per\u00e7ue comme une relique religieuse d\u00e9pass\u00e9e, inadapt\u00e9e \u00e0 notre \u00e9poque. Or, cette n\u00e9gligence explique pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l&#039;\u00e9tat actuel de nos villes, de notre pays et du monde. Nombreux sont ceux qui, se disant croyants, ont aujourd&#039;hui d\u00e9laiss\u00e9 la Parole de Dieu. Souvent, la Bible est interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re simpliste, \u00e9dulcor\u00e9e, ou tout simplement consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme inapplicable \u00e0 notre monde. Mais nous devons suivre l&#039;exemple de J\u00e9r\u00e9mie, qui a dit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0J&#039;ai trouv\u00e9 tes paroles, et je les ai d\u00e9vor\u00e9es\u00a0; ta parole a fait la joie et l&#039;all\u00e9gresse de mon c\u0153ur\u00a0\u201d (J\u00e9r. 15,16).<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Soyons comme Josias et J\u00e9r\u00e9mie, qui ont recherch\u00e9 avec ferveur la Parole de
