Dans 2 Rois 23, nous d\u00e9couvrons le contexte idol\u00e2tre dans lequel naquit ce jeune gar\u00e7on. Pourtant, il est le dernier bon roi de Juda, malgr\u00e9 ce contexte. Qu&#039;est-ce qui caract\u00e9risait un si bon roi, m\u00eame \u00e0 huit ans\u00a0? Qu&#039;est-ce qui a marqu\u00e9 le renouveau spirituel suscit\u00e9 par un c\u0153ur si humble\u00a0? Quelles le\u00e7ons spirituelles pouvons-nous en tirer pour nos propres vies\u00a0?<\/p><p>Nous pouvons r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions en retra\u00e7ant la vie de Josias, telle qu&#039;elle appara\u00eet dans 2 Chroniques 34. Premi\u00e8rement, le renouveau spirituel commence par l&#039;ob\u00e9issance \u00e0 la Parole de Dieu. Deuxi\u00e8mement, une soif spirituelle est n\u00e9cessaire au r\u00e9veil ; remarquez que Josias \u201c commen\u00e7a \u00e0 rechercher le Dieu de son p\u00e8re David \u201d (v. 3). Troisi\u00e8mement, nous apprenons que le r\u00e9veil spirituel ne peut se produire qu&#039;en lien avec la Parole de Dieu (vv. 8-21). Quatri\u00e8mement, l&#039;enseignement clair de la Parole de Dieu suscite une r\u00e9ponse spirituelle (vv. 29-33), qui engendre l&#039;unit\u00e9 du peuple. Cinqui\u00e8mement, le v\u00e9ritable culte spirituel est le fruit d&#039;un v\u00e9ritable travail spirituel accompli dans les c\u0153urs. La P\u00e2que fut c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e et le Seigneur retrouva la place qui lui revient parmi son peuple !<\/p><p>Tout cela s&#039;est produit parce qu&#039;\u00e0 seize ans, ce jeune homme a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre sa foi au s\u00e9rieux. \u00c0 vingt ans, il s&#039;est mis \u00e0 d\u00e9raciner avec vigilance tout ce qui d\u00e9shonorait son Dieu (v. 3). \u00c0 vingt-six ans, il \u00e9tait profond\u00e9ment impliqu\u00e9 dans la vie spirituelle de l&#039;\u00e9glise (vv. 8-10). Et tout cela avant m\u00eame d&#039;avoir trente ans !<\/p><p>Josias est un exemple pour chacun d&#039;entre nous, quel que soit notre \u00e2ge. Son histoire nous offre un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 suivre pour comprendre comment Dieu peut se servir d&#039;une personne, m\u00eame dans les moments de d\u00e9tresse spirituelle, pour susciter un renouveau.<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>\u00cates-vous un Josias\u00a0?
