Il ne s&#039;agit pas d&#039;une simple r\u00e9p\u00e9tition sans but pr\u00e9cis\u00a0; chaque fois, l&#039;Esprit de Dieu cherche \u00e0 nous faire prendre conscience d&#039;un point particulier.<\/p><p>Tout d&#039;abord, dans H\u00e9breux 1:3, nous lisons : \u201c Apr\u00e8s avoir accompli lui-m\u00eame la purification des p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, il s&#039;est assis \u00e0 la droite de la Majest\u00e9 divine dans les lieux tr\u00e8s hauts. \u201d Dans ce contexte, l&#039;auteur nous pr\u00e9sente sept gloires du Seigneur J\u00e9sus ; par cons\u00e9quent, nous pouvons dire qu&#039;il s&#039;est assis \u00e0 cause de\u2026 <em>la gloire de sa personne<\/em>!<\/p><p>Ensuite, dans le m\u00eame chapitre, nous entendons le P\u00e8re dire\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Asseyez-vous \u00e0 ma droite, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que je fasse de vos ennemis votre marchepied\u00a0\u201d (1,13). Ici, il s\u2019assoit \u00e0 cause de <em>Sa pr\u00e9\u00e9minence<\/em>.<\/p><p>La troisi\u00e8me r\u00e9f\u00e9rence est le verset d&#039;aujourd&#039;hui. Ici, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus s&#039;assoit \u00e0 cause de <em>Son sacerdoce parfait<\/em>. Contrairement aux pr\u00eatres l\u00e9vitiques, le Seigneur J\u00e9sus n&#039;a pas eu \u00e0 offrir de sacrifice pour ses propres p\u00e9ch\u00e9s ; de m\u00eame, son sacerdoce n&#039;est pas limit\u00e9 par la mort car il vit \u00e9ternellement !<\/p><p>Ceci nous am\u00e8ne \u00e0 la quatri\u00e8me fois o\u00f9 il est mentionn\u00e9 que notre Seigneur s&#039;est assis\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Mais lui, apr\u00e8s avoir offert un seul sacrifice pour les p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, s&#039;est assis pour toujours \u00e0 la droite de Dieu\u00a0\u201d (10,12). Ici, nous voyons le Seigneur J\u00e9sus s&#039;asseoir \u00e0 cause de\u2026 <em>Son sacrifice parfait<\/em>.<\/p><p>La cinqui\u00e8me et derni\u00e8re fois que nous voyons le Christ assis se trouve au chapitre 12. Nous le voyons alors comme <em>notre exemple parfait<\/em> Dans cette course qu&#039;est la vie chr\u00e9tienne, nous avons un but pr\u00e9cis au ciel\u00a0: fixer nos regards sur J\u00e9sus, qui est l&#039;auteur de la foi et qui la m\u00e8ne \u00e0 la perfection. Pour la joie qui lui \u00e9tait r\u00e9serv\u00e9e, il a endur\u00e9 la croix, m\u00e9prisant la honte, et il s&#039;est assis \u00e0 la droite du tr\u00f4ne de Dieu (12, 1-2).
