Amen. <br \/><strong>Apocalypse 1:5\u20136<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Dans les versets d&#039;aujourd&#039;hui, Jean nous donne des raisons d&#039;exalter le Seigneur J\u00e9sus. La premi\u00e8re est qu&#039;il est le t\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le. Dans le livre de l&#039;Apocalypse, Jean utilise au moins trois fois le terme \u201c fid\u00e8le \u201d en lien avec le Seigneur J\u00e9sus (1.4-5 ; 3.14 ; 19.11). Il est ici le t\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le. Nombreux sont les t\u00e9moins intervenus dans cette sc\u00e8ne pour la gloire de Dieu, mais aucun n&#039;\u00e9tait sans d\u00e9faut. Un seul \u00e9tait parfait, sans tache ni tache, et un seul pouvait \u00eatre appel\u00e9 le t\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le. De la cr\u00e8che \u00e0 la croix, il est rest\u00e9 in\u00e9branlable dans son service. \u00c0 l&#039;\u00e2ge de douze ans, nous l&#039;entendons dire : \u201c Ne saviez-vous pas qu&#039;il me fallait \u00eatre aux affaires de mon P\u00e8re ? \u201d (Lc 2.49). Ce t\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le s&#039;est exclam\u00e9 : \u201c Ma nourriture est de faire la volont\u00e9 de celui qui m&#039;a envoy\u00e9 et d&#039;accomplir son \u0153uvre \u201d (Jn 4.34). Il \u00e9tait le serviteur d\u00e9vou\u00e9 qui se levait t\u00f4t le matin pour recevoir les instructions de son P\u00e8re (Mc 1,35). T\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le, il d\u00e9clarait\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Je suis n\u00e9 et je suis venu dans le monde pour rendre t\u00e9moignage \u00e0 la v\u00e9rit\u00e9\u00a0\u201d (Jn 18,37).<\/p><p>Jean utilise le mot \u201c\u00a0t\u00e9moin\u00a0\u201d au moins 72 fois dans ses \u00e9crits, principalement \u00e0 propos du Seigneur. Dans Apocalypse 3.14, il est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme le \u201c\u00a0t\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le et v\u00e9ritable\u00a0\u201d, par opposition \u00e0 une \u00c9glise qui, bien que professante, devait \u00eatre son t\u00e9moin jusqu\u2019\u00e0 son retour (Actes 1.8)\u00a0; or, cette \u00c9glise a failli \u00e0 cette mission. Dans Apocalypse 19.11, il est d\u00e9crit comme le \u00ab\u00a0fid\u00e8le et v\u00e9ritable\u00a0\u00bb qui jugera avec justice.<\/p><p>Jean commence \u00e0 exalter le Seigneur J\u00e9sus en nous rappelant que, pendant qu&#039;il \u00e9tait ici, le Christ a \u00e9t\u00e9 le t\u00e9moin fid\u00e8le de la gloire de Dieu !<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Quel soulagement, au milieu de toute cette irr\u00e9alit\u00e9 et cette incoh\u00e9rence, de se tourner vers Celui qui ne faillit jamais, Celui qui demeure fid\u00e8le et vrai !<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faithful Witness Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
