Mais moi, je suis un ver et non un homme ; l'opprobre des hommes et le m\u00e9pris du peuple.
Psaume 22:6<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>

Dans le Psaume 22, plusieurs descriptions du Seigneur J\u00e9sus soulignent ses souffrances et son caract\u00e8re unique en tant que Messie. Tout d'abord, dans notre verset, nous l'entendons dire proph\u00e9tiquement : \u201c Je suis un ver, et non un homme. \u201d Ce mot signifie\u2026 ver<\/em> Ce terme appara\u00eet environ 31 fois dans l'Ancien Testament et est souvent traduit par \u201c \u00e9carlate \u201d ou \u201c cramoisi \u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Le ver dont il est question ici s'appelle tola ; c'est un petit ver qui se nourrit de plantes et dont la teinture \u00e9carlate, une fois broy\u00e9e, est pr\u00e9cieuse et permanente, r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux riches. D'ailleurs, le mot \u00e9carlate signifie litt\u00e9ralement \u201c la splendeur du ver \u201d. Appliqu\u00e9 au Seigneur, ce terme nous rappelle qu'il a d\u00fb \u00eatre bris\u00e9 pour que sa gloire et sa splendeur soient r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9es. Il symbolise son humiliation par les hommes, le m\u00e9pris et l'opprobre dont il a \u00e9t\u00e9 victime. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 bris\u00e9 et mis \u00e0 mort afin que nous puissions vivre et rev\u00eatir les v\u00eatements glorieux de notre salut !<\/p>

L\u2019expression \u201c et aucun homme \u201d signifie en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u201c un inconnu \u201d. Cela nous rappelle ce que nous lisons dans Philippiens 2:5-7 : \u201c Christ J\u00e9sus\u2026 s\u2019est d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame, prenant la condition d\u2019esclave, et devenant semblable aux hommes. \u201d<\/p>

On trouve une autre expression similaire dans le Psaume 22:20\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0D\u00e9livre-moi de l\u2019\u00e9p\u00e9e, ma vie pr\u00e9cieuse du pouvoir du chien.\u00a0\u201d L\u2019expression \u201c\u00a0ma vie pr\u00e9cieuse\u00a0\u201d est parfois traduite par \u201c\u00a0mon unique\u00a0\u201d. Cette expression est utilis\u00e9e cinq fois dans le Nouveau Testament pour d\u00e9signer le Seigneur J\u00e9sus, le \u201c\u00a0Fils unique\u00a0\u201d. Dans la Gen\u00e8se 22:2, elle est employ\u00e9e \u00e0 propos d\u2019Isaac, figure du Seigneur J\u00e9sus. Le Seigneur J\u00e9sus est le Fils unique et \u00e9ternel de Dieu. M\u00eame sur la croix, apr\u00e8s sa souffrance et son supplice, le centurion d\u00e9clara\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Vraiment, celui-ci \u00e9tait le Fils de Dieu\u00a0\u201d (Mt 27:54)\u00a0!<\/p>
