Nous avons examin\u00e9 son d\u00e9sir d\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9\u00a0; penchons-nous maintenant sur la seconde partie de sa pri\u00e8re, son d\u00e9sir d\u2019\u00eatre satisfait de ce que Dieu lui avait donn\u00e9. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019on appelle le contentement. L\u2019ap\u00f4tre Paul a \u00e9crit\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0La pi\u00e9t\u00e9 avec le contentement est une grande source de gain\u2026 Car l\u2019amour de l\u2019argent est la racine de tous les maux\u00a0\u201d (1 Timoth\u00e9e 6.6, 10). Ces versets nous rappellent o\u00f9 doivent se situer nos priorit\u00e9s.<\/p><p>Il n&#039;y a rien de mal \u00e0 prier pour nos besoins : \u201c Donne-nous aujourd&#039;hui notre pain quotidien \u201d (Mt 6,11). Mais nous ne devons pas nous inqui\u00e9ter, en disant : \u201c Que mangerons-nous ? Que boirons-nous ? De quoi nous v\u00eatirons-nous ? Car ce sont les pa\u00efens qui recherchent toutes ces choses\u2026 Cherchez d&#039;abord le royaume de Dieu et sa justice, et tout cela vous sera donn\u00e9 par-dessus \u2018 (Mt 6,31-33). Nous retrouvons ce contentement chez l&#039;ap\u00f4tre Paul lorsqu&#039;il \u00e9crit : \u2019 J&#039;ai appris \u00e0 \u00eatre rassasi\u00e9 et \u00e0 avoir faim, \u00e0 \u00eatre dans l&#039;abondance et \u00e0 \u00eatre dans le besoin \u2018 (Ph 4,12). En suivant J\u00e9sus-Christ, nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 lui faire confiance pour tous nos besoins, petits ou grands !<\/p><p>Nous vivons dans un monde insatisfait, et toutes les publicit\u00e9s nous incitent \u00e0 l&#039;insatisfaction. Mais nous avons besoin de l&#039;attitude d&#039;Agur, qui se contentait de ce que le Seigneur lui offrait. Que le Seigneur soit notre but, et qu&#039;il nous aide \u00e0 nous r\u00e9jouir de ses bienfaits quotidiens\u00a0; et, en cas de besoin, puissions-nous compter sur sa bont\u00e9 pour y pourvoir\u00a0!<\/p><p><strong>Ancre du jour :<\/strong><br \/>Se fier en toute simplicit\u00e9 \u00e0 Dieu seul et se contenter de ce qu&#039;il donne, voil\u00e0 un grand gain !<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Prayer For
